Good features, very nice design (and never got problems with siemens product), but the unusual keyboard is impossible to use w/1 hand, w/2 also hard.. imho upgrade to fw7 is recomanded.

i update it to sw 7 and it is faster.better camera lightning and very very fast.u cab see big differenece

I have SX1 but it has an error that is it automatically restart whenever I check phone memory and java application in the phone. So plz anyone tell me what is the error and how can I rectify this error

NGage: The NGage does NOT have a 3d processor. It has the same hardware as SX1 and 6600, which is why Ngage games can be hacked to play on these. Search on google for more info. SX1 has camera/video, Ngage doesn't. also don't sidetalk!!

hey,i wanna buy a phone,and i was wondering about 2 phones,the Nokia N-Gage and the siemens SX1,so may anybody help me and tell me which is best???? they both have radio and mp3 player! and both have bluetooth,and a USB port,i kinda liked the nokia because its much more fun with those games,and it also has a graphic 3D Processor! so please help me which one is better?

i have an sx1 my sister has a 6600 and i got really bored of 6600 but still havin fun with the sx1 and i got the sx1 a week before sooo ther you go ppl

Alen,speed of apps: Will run the NGage versions of Tomb Raider and Sonic at full speed(cracked, not out of the box),so it's a fast phone, but I think the OS can be a bit slow sometimes, but Siemens are still releasing firmware which should speed it up.
pinokio:no complaints from the other end when on handsfree, also nice and loud and clear for me.

paulbrock - Thanks for your response! I´m a fussy technology fan. I´ve had stacks of phones and very honestly Nokia has seemed to be the best, but lately has´nt come out with great models. The SX1 seems to be a phone with the whole package, i might try it out... The V600 has a very poor sound both on calls and on free-hands. People complain when I´m on the car-kit because of the echo, something that did´nt happen with Nokia. Software is a little slow, and not as user friendly. Videos, it only recieves MP4, while Nokia accepts almost anything...

that is crazy me down with siemens and my old t68i
applications is fast, very fast , slow or moderate?

pinokio - In response to your queries:
Battery - 2 days on normal use (mp3,radio,calls) Sound - mp3 and radio are simply excellent with the inc stereo headset. Speaker is OK, ringtones OK.
Comfortable to use - the keypad puts people off. It's really ok, easy to get used to and txting 2 handed is dead quick. You can txt 1 handed on it, but not so well. It's a 'solid' phone, not like plasticy 6600, also a bit narrower than 6600. Software is very similar to 6600, same apps and games. What don't you like about v600?

I got a V600 last week and I´m not too happy with it. I find it curious that on the Sx-1 opinions there are mostly positive opinions. Is it really that good?
Batt. capacity? sound? comfortable to use?
I had a 6600 and got rid of it because of it being such an uncunfortable phone. It seemed as if I using a brick to make calls, but I must say it had a fantastic software...
