you know what i take back what i said this phone looks really cool i love the design....regreted getting the MIO8380....hahaha....since there are no flaws on this phone know i REALLY think it rocks!

ok ok... let me solve all your problems!!!!! hehhehhehhehheh!!!!!! u see.... my sx1 initially got problems...really.. the lights cant go off... makes the batt run dry damm fast.. plus the phone system not stable and so damm slow!!!!! i cant even download the latest software on line!!!! my computer didnt detect anty connection at all!!!! i so angry man!!!! gonna sell my phone!!!! byt wait... iemail siemens and tell them the problem and guess wat !!! they told me to go down to siemens carecentre and they change the whole program for me!!! and now its much much faster and the camera quality is better!!!! really its much faster and stable now!! we should give this phone a chance... u see its the 1st batch phones so of cos they need to refine it.. i remember that nokia 8310 and their 1st colour phones got alot of problems(1si batch) and y nobody complain?! its even worse then a phone due to slow interface!!! its hang and auto shut down!!!! even t610 also got problem very very very slow!! i experienc it b4!!! i tell u this phone is simply great n dun compare with nokia 6600. although siemens uses the same os as nokia so wat? u see siemens did quite animber of stuffs that makes the phone fun to use!! go try n u will know!!! plus that game nozzle? its fun!!!!!! simple and creative! just got the best phone game of the year!!!! way to go!!! overall u look at nokia 6600.. it looks familiar rite? COS THERE IS NOT MUCH IF A DIFFERENCES AS OTHER NOKIA PHONES!!!! JUST CHANGE ABIT HERE N THERE!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA N COME OUT WITH FUNNY DESIGN THAT IS SO DIFFICULT TO USE!!!! okok sorry for being so long winded... and so any one agree with me? just reply and say OH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comparing the P900 with the SX1 is silly.
P900 is much more expansive. The weight is 116g to 150g.
Its 30% more (so is the price). Do you compare Hyundai cars with Mercedes ?

THE WAIT IS OVER. I don't regret it. The best phone ever. I am happy :-)))
Get the firmware 06 and it runs stable as steel. It is free on the official siemens-site.
Poor SX1 hater .. Get your plastic version of it: 6600 o:)))
The fotos here don't show, what a lovely phone it is. Get in a shop and take it in your hands !!

I bought it last wendesday.I don't have any serious problem(i had only one bug)so i love my choise.I'm also waiting for version 7 so bye bye sx1-enemies !!!

ok ok ramay , i will answer your question....u see siemens have a shared memory of 16mb or 24mb watsoever... but in the end after its only worth 4mb of storage which mean the rest have been used by the pre in store programs... get it?

I don't undertand, what the real size of de internal memory of SX1? Some people says 24mb , 4mb , 16mb... Thank you

i waited for this phone for 1 year!!!!finally i got it!!! unfortunately.... its so disappointing.... theres a lot of bugs!!!really!! its really unstable. first the interface is damm slow!!!! worse than some siemens phones!!! u cant send audio like sonyericsson phones.not really user friendly... some of them even if u read the manual u still blur. and sometimes your camera or video cant be opened!!!!! wats the worst part is that it hangs very frequently!!!!!!trust me if u wanna buy, think carefully!!!! now i really regret...all the comments here r fair... im not a nokia supportor. i used a lot of phones n the 3 brands that i like are panasonic, sonyericsson and siemens. but now siemens really disappoint me with this phone.

You know what?.....the Mitac MIO8380 is soooo much older than the SX1 but it performs better,and i mean sooo much better....i tried the SX1 2 days ago and it hanged on the spot in the cell phone store,i think siemens was toooo eager to release this phone seriously they should have taken their time to perfect this phone with a great design and not let it go to waste,and don't ever try to compare this phone with a P900/P800...it WILL lose.

Hi I bought SX1 but after use of 15days it causes a hardware error.I am from INDIA. Can anyone tell me where should I go for repair this SX1.Service centre in INDIA couldn't rectify this error. My handset doesn't start!

i also waited sx1 for almost 1 year, but i was quite disappointed when i got it... you cant choose a ringtone from the memory card, you can't play audio files from the memory card, the battery doesn't last long... hmm... maybe i'm just used to P800, that's why i'm complaining alot bout this phone...

Great phone!!! The thing is like a computer! Only with less software errors than windows! Great software available at siemens and MiRC!

i use many phones from panasonic to nokia to siemens and sony ericsson to samsung.i know all the pros and cons..... tell u frankly that nokia design actually sucks nowadays... getting worse!!!!really n their phone got number of problems...even my nokia die hard friends say so!!! SE T610 is a good phone...really but interface abit slow.take note that siemens phones n design have been improving thru the years!!! serious!!!!! n i waited for sx1 for 1 year!!!!!!!ppl always say siemens copy nokia.. y not vice versa?!ppl say siemens sl55 copy nokia slide phones but in fact siemens is the 1st one to come out with a slide n colour phones!!!!! i think 6 years back..go check n u will noe..sx1 in fact is due to release a long time ago... so wont u say that nokia copy siemens program n come out with the phone?! by the way, that 6600 design damm cheap leh!!!!! who agree wif me? pls reply all u out there!!!!!!!

Bought it last saturday, and I personally think this mobile is really OVERRATED!!! The design is cool, but the program & interface is no different with a Nokia 6600, it is almost the same as Nokia!!! It even got a folder named "Nokia"!!! It look like a Nokia clone!!! Definitely not what I called a complete or a future mobile!!! And the price is way too expensive compared to what it can offered. I personally think it can't even match a P800!!!

I have to get used to the buttons on the side, and it needs some firmware to remove some small bugs, but this phone simply ROCKS! this is the future people!

Sx1 is a very bad phone.I have bought this fone in 800 us dollers and after use of 15 days it gone to sleep and there is system error and softeware error which was the main cause for delay in launching this phone.I am so guilty to buy this phone.now this fone is not starting.
