:-) I don;t get it - how "an exclusive phone for a living adventures"...but working only on GSM800/900/1800 network?!?! ... that's indeed an real adventure ... in a space full of GSM antennas?!?! :-D ...cool, put also a beer in the fridge for me...

I think it's merely phone just pose, a serious adventure/surviver phone should work on satellite network...

For a rugged phone, this thing has an impressive resume. Very cool.

For all you princesses out there who think a phone is what impresses the girls or is a fashion statement... try dunking your phone under water for 1 minute, or drop it from 2 meters a few times.

This phone is about function, to be used as a tool. Not as a purse.

Also, this phone is only 7mm thicker and about 10 mm longer than the Nokia N96

This is the new Land Rover phone. Ideal for people that just want a basic but durable handset. Just hope it is made available on the networks not only sim free like the JCB Phone.

This phone is the same spec as Sonim's LandRover S1. The S1 was recently reviewed by Sir Ranulph Fienne's who is the worlds greatest living adventurer, according to the Guiness book of World Records. Sir Ranulph described the S1 as his dream mobile for adventuring. Wow! See the interview here

I am waiting for this phone, rugged but sadly it is too expensive with very least feature. They put gps without even 3g support. Too bad, its just recalled my very old nokia phones

Different phones, for different clients for different applications. Don't judge it by it's appearance. Even a morron that would read the specs could see it's not your average day in the mall phone, so stop bashing it. Quite frankly I think it's a great device...especially for that discovery guy who survives in the wild :)))

                            cheers!

1500h standby time??? That's 62 days. If it's one third of that it's still amazing.
