Total junk and waist of money. Do not buy this phone. Customer support is worthless as well. They do nothing. Almost 8 months dealing with support and absolutely nothing from them

Great phone except... completely incapable of playing Pokemon GO(with my kids I swear lol). The WiFi hotspot has not worked for over a year and Sonim only promises a fix soon. It was a known issue 13 months ago on the MTS network. Poor response by the manufacturer in issuing the repair will be the nail in the coffin for this phone. I really used to like it too...

Phone isn't perfect, it did out itself since time, but reception is better than anything I have ever used, the battery is mighty fine and the call sound is good. Bad camera, screen is quite old generation and multitasking get the phone to freeze rather easily. Their customer service is plenty bad. Other than that, I like the phone for its battery and good signal.

Super expesnive in my country in Slovakia cost 949 euro.
How this rugger phone can have gorrila glass 2 if many others even cheap phones have at least gorrila glass 3 or 4.
                      Also 4.4.2 kitkat is outdated.

AnonD-195237, 27 Nov 2014Nija Turtles phone? LolPretty handy rugged phone. Problems are my pictures lock out and I can't find them. Phone alters itself periodically. Changes format so to speak. Miss many calls and notifications. Do get awesome reception and battery life. I like the size it is perfect for my hands. The rep told me to send it to Rogers. .. fat chance. I'll never see it again.

Worth every penny, not the most comfortable phone, quite heavy too but the battery on this thing is insane. How is it even possible from Friday morning to Monday 3 pm heavy use and still 20 % juice left. I am amazed.

The battery is amazing and the prosesor is better than I thought, the size though is another story, this is the biggest 4 inch display phone every. Heavy and big but man its ruggrd, I have it with me when I hunt and the GPS is better Nokias, 11 hours gps and screen on, no other phone on the planet can do that. Only thing we don't like is the stif buttons. My fingers hurt :)

2 places you can buy it unlocked. Kickmobiles UK 999$ and than in Finland for the same price. I have used the phone for 5 months and the battery still does good 3-days of heavy use. The signal is great, the Sonin customer service if really rubbish, so if you brake it you better have pun insurance because Sonim dies all possible to not get you one and even if you get replacement it will be refurbished equipment not a new one, this is my experience so far. Too overpriced for what you get but still I need to have the toughest so I do.

The phone is fantastic. I don't work in a rugged job, tho do work and play outside, a lot. The phone can take a beating. It has ample internal storage space, unless you want a zillion tunes and games on it. One of the most heavily-used features of any phone I own is the GPS, and this one is excellent. I also have a real GPS when i need it...Mine is from the indiegoago campaign, all black, unlocke, called the Extreme. No retailer seems to have many now of the regular yellow and black ones. I'm expecting a new model this fall or winter...fits in my pocket and I'm only 110 pounds :)

Does this phone speakers really reaches the 103dB that its datasheet claims?
If it is true this phone would be 20dB higher than any of the phones tested by GSMARENA.
I would love to see a speaker test from GSMARENA for this phone to see if this is true or just marketing.
