How is the OS processing?
Slow? Slightly fast? fas... moreits OS is Fast, normally 3 or 4 times a day it hang. But dear this phone is awesome in other features. I m really a big fan of this phone.
U have to disconnect ur battery when phone will hang bcz ur movie sound or ur running song sound continuously come till u disconnect ur battrey and no other function will work . the screen will be freez.

Slightly fast? fas... morei mean to say some time when u r watching any movie which u inserted through pc suit software in ur memory card . and suddenly u open ur slide , at that time ur phone will hang , but not everytime like 1 out of 25 it will hang.

You said the phone will hang when open 2 application? only 1 application can be opened? means that while we are watching movie we need to off the song?
DISCONNECT THE BATTERY??!!! wth??? so bad condition???
and one more thing is, how often it will hang when you open movie and song?
1 time a day ? or 10 times a day?

Guys i m using this phone since last month, and i wana share my experience about this phone from u.
Advantages
1. Great Look
2. Good response with touch functions(Screen)
3. Awesome camera Quality in both camera and video mode
4. Cool hands-free with diff. light .
5. Soft music , not too loud (irritate) Clear sound(In handsfree)
6. userfriendly functions , easy to use
7. By mistake my phone fell but still working
8. GOod battery life (According to ur usage)
9. touch functions r limited but according to my usage .
Disadvantages
1. Not loud sound in phone speaker
2. Some time it hangs when u play movie or song. u have to disconnect the battery , so sad
3. little bit heavy
4. only one speaker (According to sonyericsson site there should be 2 speakers)
5. No Games or themes available in Internet or any site.
IF some one know about its game plz tell me i wanna download . plz plz plz . thanx in advance

It's quite common to hear that slider phones are troublesome and the slider strip can easily get damaged causing loads of problems.. This was the case with my N81..
Will the slider on the Aino cause to be a problem in the future?

hi,
i own sony ericsion W910i.my screen is broken because of water.i am looking for a good looking , strong and non-scratch phone.
aino looks preety gud but i was thinking to buy satio but satio costs preety high.
satio had Xeon flash but aino only got led flash.
Whats the difference between those two flashes?
i don't own a ps3 so some of the features of aino would be useless for me.
my main preference for phone's specs would be:
-slide fone
-good camera with flash
-good amount of memory for photoes and music
-extremely good looking
-durable and strong
-easy to takecare of(that dosen't get millions of scratches)
-good battery life
i have also read that the touch screen of aino can't be used for texting.Is is going to be fixed?
please recommend me any other phone if possible because i am very confused and i need a phone as soon as possible.

aino, 18 Nov 2009thanks again for your answes. but just afraid about the li... moreThe wobbles only happen if you deliberately force them. Sliding up and down no problem sturdy and smooth. They aren't anything to be worried about, can barely feel them, but when open as with most sliders, if you feel around there are tiny wobbles. As mentioned, it is nothing to be worried about.

The slight bit of weight also gives it a feel of sturdiness.The slider works very well with little wobbles. It has a slight bit of friction but nothing too displeasing.

I cannot say that with this update that the phone will have full screen functionality, however it is possible. We will only know when the firmware is released if the phone is now full touchscreen. Making myself clear so as not to create any arguments, it is possible however only Sony Ericsson will be able to decide if they want to make it touchscreen or not with the firmware update in January

If let say after I bought the AINO for this season, is it the firmware can be upgraded/updated? and did you mean that once we have upgraded/updated the firmware, we can use the touchscreen for texting purpose?

Hi, is the backlight for the keypad is bright enough? coz my last phone w760 the backlight for keypad is so dim.

No lags good firmware. Aino is slightly better than W995. I ordered a white one its coming this week so i can't wait to recieve it.
