yes i have read some of your complains about the slide of w 995 in the w 995 post.
i think it was bad luck for you about the wobbly slide. i have always heard and see myself that w 995 slide is very sturdy and strong.

for how long are you going to tease us for the outcome of Aino review?

if you have a copy of the original full review written in your word document just copy and paste and post it again. sometimes Gsmarena hangs in one or two posting even if it doesn't contain any wrong words.
may be they take random posts.
so i encourage to post the full review again.
I really hope that this phone will be good one because for my needs i don't find other phones except w995 which is good one but not best.
is the battery really so that bad even ?!

I just posted a self-review of Aino here and it has not been published..
Maverick,Aino Before, buddies, if it gets approved by the moderator and gets published here, then well and good.. If not, here's a summary of what i wrote in that post..
I got to hold the Aino today for around two minutes.. Good built, excellent slider, super cool display screen, good UI when using a normal theme, a small noticeable lag in the UI when using a theme with quite a few animations, nice menu system..
The reason that post has been sent to the moderator to be approved is because i used a word for the customer who owned the Aino i held and who wouldn't let me click a picture or listen to a song with it.. He snatched it back from me in two minutes..
I just fell in love with the phone due to its killer looks.. The display screen is awesome!!
And that's why i have decided to ignore the existing poor battery life and go for Aino as soon as the firmware update comes out..
That's it brothers.. That's all i've got..

Also, i think i can do with the battery life of the Aino.. I am not going to use all of its functions everyday.. I am a software engineer and i'm busy coding all day.. So no remote play or clicking pics or making videos for me on most of the days.. So as soon as the firmware update comes out, i'll buy the phone that very day!!!!

Hello there..
Maverick and aino before, my buddies, i've got a little teaser for you.. Today, just half an hour ago, i got to hold an Aino, for about two-three minutes only (and that's the sad part..).. The reason i got to hold it for such a short amount of time was that the person who had bought it wouldn't let me hold any longer.. I requested him to test a few functions such as the camera and the music player, but nopes, he just wouldn't let me do it.. Jerk!! I wish i could knock off his face!!
Okay.. So what did i do in those two minutes? Browsed about in the menu and got to use the touchscreen for locking and unlocking the phone.. I would say that the touchscreen is quite smooth.. UI lags when a theme with quite a few animations is put on.. Otherwise, the UI is just fine with a normal theme.. The slider is really smooth and sturdy!! The built of the phone is really really nice.. It feels quite comfortable in the hand..
Lastly, and the coolest thing i could see about the phone in that short little time was, THE AWESOME SCREEN!! It's so gorgeous!!!! For once, i just forgot all about it's shortcomings like poor battery life and all.. I fell in love with it!! I have decided that i'll buy the Aino as soon as the firmware update comes out.. Do not compare W995 with Aino.. Aino is in its own league thanks to the ultra-brilliant display screen..
Now, this is all i could see before the really pushy customer snatched the phone back from me.. I wish i could click a picture or listen to a song..... Sigh..!!

great multimedia phone. but don't expect this to have smartphone functions or business related features. I still think Satio is better buy since they're not too high in price difference!

Has anyone had any difficulty with the facebook app on this phone, recently got one and none of the pictures come up for my friends whether its on the actual list or status updates, any ideas on a fix or anyone else having this problem???

Rocky, 02 Nov 2009no point getting Aino, no 3.5mm audio jack, no front camera... more3.5mm jack? This phone has bluetooth headphones that has 3.5mm jack already. It lights up in different colors too which is really cool and it looks awesome too!! If you want video call, it's still available through main camera and front camera's aren't really that useful either. Symbian will only ruin this phone, I like this phone on how it's so focused on multimedia with such an awesome UI rather than a serious business phone like Nokia and Samsung.. RemotPlay is also an awesome feature. I also like its sexy and sleek design! I think that it's definitely an awesome phone!! The w995 is also an excellent choice!
