It is only a speculated guess that the firmware update shall be available in Jan 2010. Only SE engineers might have that info. I got the info from a local SE store which i don't think can be reliable enough.. SE will release the firmware when it feels it is right.. I cannot guarantee you any date.. Sorry bro.. Wish i could help you in this regard..

i would like to inquire about some issues in aino. so please help
1)does the screen touch work by itself while the phone is in the pocket and the media or whatever the music plays. is the lock key not good enough.
2)another point is the user interface especially in the camera is it laggy.
3)does the phone hang or restart by itself
4) the battery if you just leave it for standby or just use it for little use how many days can it stand

I just saw this phone and its so stylish and sexy! Pretty fast too! Really good mobile. Taking pictures is also awesome!

I dont understand why so many people are complaing about only partial touch screen capability. This is a feature phone that has incorporated some touch screen, for instance when using the camera, and wathcing videos!! because you use the main viewing screen for this and not the key pad!!! I for one like it as i dont like using touch screen to write txts, my advice would be, if you want full touch screen =, go and buy a touch screen phone, theres plenty out there, satio,iphone,lg etc. i have this phone and so far it has done everything thing it said it would on the box so i have no complaints!

i have mentioned earlier that it is better not to rush to purchase a new gadget in the market , wait for 4 months after its release till sony ericsson correct all the bugs . also in 4 months time you will have many reviews and comments that you might rely on .

the touch feature hangs a lot. if its in ur pocket, it will happen almost all the time because u'll accidentally keep clicking some icon and eventually some feature would be activated and when in between a call comes, u're gone.. restart the phone and back to normal. moreover the battery is quite stupid... doesnt really work as much as required.... needs charging daily.
