Dear Friends

I want to buy mobile with good music, wifi, is this phone will be good for me?

And one more thing i want to discuss about Aino.
What is firmware and when it will update?

If any response aprysiated.

    hi guys..may i know how to permanently switch off the home screen panorama? i tried to hide it but everytime i switch off and on my phone it will appear again..thanks

              Finally i opt for AINO and bought ths fone and iam totally disoppointed aftr buyng ths fone since thr is no option of touch screen except for media and the bluetooth headset which is given along mble disconnects often so we have to connect again and again,apart nly good is the fone looks stylish

                sorry Araka if you got the feel that i am negative on SE.
                no at all i like SE phones and i waited for aino to come to the market for some time now.
                if you read earlier posts you will just know that i am replying to ritwik about one point we have disccussed before. that is all.
                by the way i am not experienced tech.
                i was reading all the comments and reviews about Aino.
                from cnet and alatest and techradar and other sites i was searching for any review that give some praise for Aino in order to encourage to buy the phone.

                  I think if Sony adds full touchscreen capabilities (new UI while browsing thru menu so you just touch on menu without sliding your keypad again....), i will definitely buy this phone. keypad is also good... but i much liked full touch phones

                    i still hope that Aino will be better than W 995 but i am not encouraged that this will be trued.
                    i don't feel that i want to buy W 995 although it is good phone.
                    i have read almost all reviews about Aino and according to these reviews their opinions are negative on Aino not me. so do you think that gsmarena review will be completely different from the rest!!! i don't think so.
                    As much as i remember the most repeated problems mentioned in more than one review are as follows.
                    1) laggy OS and laggy when the card is full with only 2 GB
                    2) laggy camera in saving picture but very speedy video
                    3) battery drain fast :(((
                    4)the music stops or lagg for not a short while when you recieve message.
                    i encourage all owners of Aino to comment on these problems and also give the positive picture about Aino.

                        my and my friends requist is to give mega bass option in costly sets like aino ,w 995, xperia and satio.as
                        mega bass option is only unique for sony ericsson mobiles, which we does not get from other companies mobiles

                          Finally I have made up my mind for Aino..but with the existing inadequacies with the Phone…can’t think of buying it..

                          So my question is…are u sure that firmware update will come in the month of Jan 2010..

                          And most important thing ….GET WELL SOON BUDDY…..we don’t want our reviewer/reporter :) to be out of action for too long…

                                  The Aino is coming out in the US for $600.

                                  Sorry but $600 for this or any other smart phone is just too expensive. Sony couldn't even sell the PS3 at that cost. Netbook laptops cost less than that!!

                                  What in the world could make these devices so expensive? It certainly is not the chips, materials and manufacturing cost. :(

                                    In simple terms, it's a set of programs that controls and executes your mobile phone's operations.. A better firmware can result in better phone operations, like better video recording, better image capturing and processing, better battery life, smoother UI navigation etc....
                                    As for your confusion, people will always find faults with each and every device they are presented with.. Nothing is perfect and that is the basis for new devices coming out.. What matters in the end is what you decide to get and whether you are satisfied with your choice.. I've heard both good and bad comments about Aino.. But when i put it all together, a heftier price tag with not so good battery performance, not so stable UI and video recording not upto the mark (a lot more was expected from Aino), W995 seems to be a better choice than Aino, atleast to me.. But as i have stated in my earlier posts, a major firmware update for Aino can fix the above mentioned issues.. It is expected around Jan.. You can buy the Aino now and can get yourself the firmware update in Jan, if you think you can do with the existing issues for 2 months or so.. If not, go for the W995.. That's what i suggest.. Rest is your choice brother.. :)
