In Dubai the price of Aino is exactly the same as W 995.
does that mean that W995 is better than Aino.
my point is that Aino has new features than W995 touch screen, big screen,new OS, etc...
so they must have downgraded something in Aino in order to make it the same price as W995.
isn't that the usual stragtegy of SE?
any1 can recommend which one to go for.
there are no much reviews about Aino, also its rate in alatest isn't going up , while satio rate tends to go up, while aino is either stable or going down

I am wondering is that the 1st touch phone from sony ericsson that runs its own OS and not symbian nor windows mobile.
is that the reason that the OS seem not stable enough?

disappointing.
seem that the phone needs a huge firmware update and may be that is the reason that gsmarena hasn't reviewed the phone till now.
may be if they reviwed it now no one will ever buy the phone without update
may be i am right may be i am wrong.

this could have been the best phone SE released lately, but it seems they turned it into...the DISAPPOINTING phone with the best chances to be one of the best!

i can´t unferstand what goes inside people minds, working in SE company!
the company is in troble and they keep on doing huge mistakes like sending phones to the market as the one from the (kind) review we all read a few coments ago...!
such a high expectations for this phone and SE blew it up!

Anonymous, 20 Oct 2009I was heavily thinking about the W995. How do you like it? ... moreYep the speakers are definitely equal! I know that's a common W595 problem but W995 has awesome sound from both. You can definitely hear stereo.
The W995 is a great phone, nice battery life, of course 3.5mm headphone port, Wifi and GPS and super fast UI with facebook, and youtube. The photo quality is also great (see http://www.flickr.com/photos/33568911@N00/3741686917 for one I took) and the camera is fast to save and take photos too with tons of settings. I really like the track control keys on the side. For disadvantages I would say the walkman key is way too sensitive and reacts on the slightest press. Also video recording isn't as good as Aino, finally the phone itself is a little slippy to hold, and due to its heavier weight can be easy to drop unless you're careful. Overall though by far the best phone I've used.

Can you really hear in stereo with ringtones and message tones? I purchased a W595 and the top speaker was not nearly as loud as the bottom speaker.
What are your likes and dislikes with it?

Keep it up with anything else about the phone. I'll wait till the price drops before buying it, too pricey.

I think I will hold on to my W995 until the price of Aino goes down and software becomes better. It seems like they released it too early without testing the software properly, like W910i.
