ian , 20 Jul 2009i love this mobile very good , better than n97 Better than the n97 are you serious. The n97 is a smartphone in a completely different league. Come on be serious man. I had one of these phones for one month & had enough. Signal is weak even in good signal area call quality is muffuled too low. Back cover creaks after a while. Camera is terrible in low light even after messing with settings & i am a professional photographer with my real camera but this phone is unusable at times. I have seen better in a cheap Nokia its only fairly decent in daylight. Phone slows to a crawl when multi tasking even on new firmware & memory card half full. Its cos of the old slow same old Ericsson chipset inside still not changed in years. Poor phone.

and also increase the brightness when in Dark Room + Flash and will be fine!!! hahaha YESS!!

hi guys... currently i played with the settings and it works fine even at Dim and Dark Room... Document Scene will do the trick + Flash...
hahaha...
Its a good Phone!!

My first cyber shot, 21 Jul 2009My first cyber shot phone i think its not a real cyber shot... moreI know, not being able to zoom at 3mp or 2mp is kinda stupid. Unfotunately, you can only do that in VGA mode. And the LED flash is fine and works good on my phone. =D Aside from not being able to zoom, this phone takes really good shots. It takes pretty good shots during night time too.

The colors come out really well. In nighshots, I just play with the settings and I can get that bright picture. Maybe you need to know how to play with the settings. I think the LED flash is good enough. So, just try playing with your settings.

My first cyber shot phone i think its not a real cyber shot performer.led flash is really a wastable and i can't zoom in 3.2mpix,2mpix.
How can i zoom it, i am really afraid about it.
Is there any problem in my handset.

im so disappointed with the quality of c510's camera.
i thought all cybershot phone are all good. id rather choose the k800 phone because it has a xenon flash so even if u take picture at night the quality is still good. and when it comes to autofocus its a lot faster than c510..

Hi Guys...
just bought c510 a week ago...
my firmware is v30 and camera driver is 2.2,
i noticed in the camera, THERE ARE SO MANY BUGS!!!
1. When you are in MACRO mode, if u press the shutter key once (hard press then release), it will capture a dark picture (means the image is not likely the original, just a bit darker).
2. but when u press it 2 times (1. light press then release, 2. hard press then release), it will capture the original light condition. (means you'll be able to capture the original lighting condition, not dark); which is good.
I dont know what happens but that's what i noticed..

Had this phone on 3 was terrible reception and the back up service from ** ******* was poor. Avoid 3rd party retailers all they care about is getting your money and they gave you a poorer deal.

U are really correct and i accept ur words friend.
I think
Nokia had done a huge mistake in camera and music quality in some of their old handsets.Look N73 is still offer a good music and camera and still living among huge competitors.Now nokia done a improvement in music, offers nice music in 5800XM, midrange XM5630(lot lot improved even it kills iPHONE music in some sound aspects) as a WALKMAN branded w995 fails to impress in music.
I accept u nokia camera performance is really dump when compared to cybershots(not all cybershots).
when compared latest Cyber shots with old SE K810, the camera quality is not likable and more noisy even in c905.
The only hated thing is SE specs sheet lacks lot more with huge price.just compare the N79 and w705 in both price and features.
REALLY I am not a NOKIA fan.
Anyway SE is likable.

However, my c510 is still working good..No yet have complain with it

If you look at what Samsung LG and Nokia are doing their phones have far more advanced technology in their phones with features way beyond what Sony Ericsson are doing. Oh and you go on about Sony Ericsson camera phones er well bet you never realised some have actually been using Samsung camera modules in their phones. Mega pixels does not mean better quality and if you look at pictures taken with the Nokia N82 they are far more sharper than Sony Ericsson. Cyber Shot is just a name it does not mean its quality. Some of Sony's dedicated cameras on the market are not highly rated in terms of picture quality when compared to Canon Nikon or Fuji. Sony cameras use too many gimmiks not concentrating on quality. Even the k800i was buggy and took blurry shots when viewed on a pc. So many people have moved away from Sony Ericsson because of poor quality control phones that die or fall apart. Its the truth. Sorry.

SE's business phones aren't so good but when it comes to music or camera, Cyber-shot and Walkman are always the best. The walkman's sound quality is really awesome and Cyber-shot phones takes the best pictures for mobiles. Nokia, however, is good in making computer phones or business phones. I like SE better though because it's more of a fun mobile and Nokia is such a serious business phone. Well we all got our own opinions..
