Same here I love SE's UI, its by far the easiest to use but then I suppose we'd get used another manufacturer over time. I'm just thinking of Samsung at the moment, the Star and the Jet look decent phones. I've got a 1gb card thats only 3/4 full and I also get lag. We need SE to sort themselves out.

My sister still got my old k510. So i did a serious shootout between k510 and c510. K510 only got a fixed focus 1.3 mp camera with very basic features. One might consider it a low-end phone nowadays. c510 is way way ahead in terms of features and functionality. As it turns out: my good old k510 pics matched c510, losses in color reproduction but wins in terms of image details. With a little editing, k510's pics looked really nice. With heavy editing like adjusting the color balance, hue,gamma, etc., k510 pics exceeded that of c510. I let my friends chose which picture looked better, all chose k510. Considering k510 is older and very inferior compared to c510, it matches or even beats in the area c510 is supposed to good at. C510 pics were too bright for my taste, too soft, and important details lost. (It sure looks nice on the phone's display though). Not to mention pics taken in low light conditions. I expected better from c510 having seen k510's camera performance.
I haven't decided my next phone yet. I'm not fond on Nokia's design, not keen on trying LG, maybe i'll try Samsung. But i really like SE's UI. BTW, my phone really lags, with or without the M2 card. And gets hot playing though the loudspeaker, calling for more than 10 minutes (i guess that's normal), and using the flash successively (is that suppose to happen?).
My complaints equals the praises i have for this phone. Very sad.

rael, 05 Jul 2009my battery last up to 2 and half days........ not bad..... ... moreI'm been complaining about the battery. And I don't charge it for 16 hours. It's just that this is my third SE phone and i can't help but compare it with the other two. I have to charge this everyday.

the phone is very nice to look at..! really like the shape of the phone.!...its sleek and cool...well i'm planning to buy da same ph.! hopefully it'l b upto ma expctations...!

rael, 05 Jul 2009my battery last up to 2 and half days........ not bad..... ... moreIts alright if your battery always runs right out when your sat with your charger and a plug-in point but its not always easy to time life like that! The battery is a Li-Polymer which means it can be charged at any time without doing any damage. I think its just an underpowered battery.

I was about to get a Nokia too because I wanted a phone so bad but I just waited for this phone and I really love it. This phone has those cool motion games and the interface is really smooth.. Really really worth waiting for.

I was confused if I should get the C510 or the W595 and just like you I owned a walkman before but I decided to go with this phone. The sound quality of this phone is really good. It's quite comparable with walkmans. They're pretty loud. The earphones are good too but I think it's not as loud as the ones from walkman phones but it's good enough. This phone is awesome! I love the smile shutter, face detection, and stuff. Camera is really good. Just go for this phone, you get good camera and good sound. Whereas in walkmans you only get good sound.

my battery last up to 2 and half days........ not bad..... same as my motorola L72....... to maintain battery life i always drain the battery til the last drop of energy before i recharge it........ where the hell come up with 16 hours initial charge???????? its 4 hours 16 hours is much and it will be overcharged...... thats why people here complains that their battery dont last.......

I have this device C510, it's great, the OS is better than old versions & you will like it, But The pictuers not like K800i, The K800i camera & auto focus is the best,.... Thank you.

The design of the Sony Ericsson C510 is perfect for me. Its not too big nor too small. Keypads and the screen are perfectly placed well
Im still thinking of what to get between the C510 or the Sony Ericsson W595. I love W595's music capabilities. Which will be? Design vs Features?
If you are looking for an excellent camera phone but won't hurt your budget I there is no need for a digital camera when you want to have instant snapshots. Just bring your C510 with you.
