JOJOBABA, 02 Jul 2009inorder to extend or maximise the battery, one should go th... moreThis is the best i agree plus an initial good charge as long as you can wait but 16 hrs is considered the best..Altho arguments about lithium batterys is that they dont need this initial charge as its only the nicad/nickel metal hydryde types that need a 16hr charge are true ,,but,, for some reason this first long charge does seem to help..

P, 01 Jul 2009Just had another problem with mine, finished sending a text... moreI had same problem all you need to do is update your firmware via SEUS. In the UK the firmware R1DA032 has this split screen fault but its fixed with new firmware now on SEUS(Sony Ericsson Update Service)online firmware now R1EA034

I'm utterly disappointed with the camera performance. I could go on complaining about it but that would get me nowhere. If only Samsung's or LG's UI is as good as SE's, I won't hesitate ditching this phone. I'm selling this two/three months from now.

inorder to extend or maximise the battery, one should go through at least five charge cycles where you charge it to its max and drain it till it dies out and shuts off.
this has helped gain most out of all the phone batteries i have used

Just had another problem with mine, finished sending a text, looked at the screen and the standby screen had gone split screen with the same standy screen showing narrowed on the top and repeated on the bottom. Any ideas what caused this? Turned it off/on and ok after that.

Just got this phone, like, three days ago, and I'm still smitten with its design, LoL
Can't say much 'bout the spec though, since I haven't done much with it. I'd just like to thrown in my two cents regarding the battery: the first two days, I kind of abused it A LOT, to the point it over-heated for several times, but it still held for TWO days. I'm no expert in such stuff, but IMO, that's good. Usually I don't abuse my phone that much, so let's see how it'll hold up then. ;)
Thinking of getting the 4gb memory stick. Should I get it, or play safe with 2gb? Thx before!

P, 30 Jun 2009Haven't had that problem with the music player but agree th... moreI would not exactly call it a lousy phone. :-). It's just that it fails to deliver what it promises. I would have rate this phone 10 out of 10 if:
- no lags (reading m2 card)
- better battery life
- no annoying pauses during music playback (all m4a format)
- camera produces better images
- display is really scratch-resistant (mine scratches easily)
- recognizes two or more audio books
- and the list goes on. Some minor others didn't even notice (like the Queue function in the music player)

Go to type a new message and when you reach the Add Recipient part just scroll down to the one(s) you want to delete and hit the cancel button, this will then prompt you Delete from List?
