Anonymous, 21 May 2009Oh for heavens sake do i have to keep saying this. This pho... moreTotaly agree... For example, when K750 appeared in my country it costed about 400 Euros (2005). Then it was high-end. Now it's mid-range and it costs around 100 Euros if you can still find it in stores, but still has many features, among the autofocus of the camera which most 2.0 MP midrange togay lack, so I think that for a midrange of today, it's more than ok.
K800 was high-end in 2006, while K810 has some software fixes in 2007. High-end => xenon flash... Now they are mid-range (again..) , but with xenon flash :P
C510 is now midrange and found it in a store with about 220 Euros.

Although I can't see any BIG difference between older and newer SE software, except for an extra button for the confirmation key :) the SMS threaded view and the youtube integration, it seems to me that high-end SE phones have a better camera :P than the rest.. Just my impression?

Anonymous, 21 May 2009Oh for heavens sake do i have to keep saying this. This pho... moreyah but now 3.2 megapixels is more like a budget phones this days.... So better with Xenon, and the K800i was a long long time ago (it's like the 8 megapixel era we have now) so 3.2 megapixels is now like the 1.3 or 2 megapixel of the 3.2 megapixel era.

I really don't think the cost of a xenon flash would be that high. Maybe add 10 euro and I would pay it, but I'm sure if it did have Xenon SE would put the phone way above the added cost of Xenon and class it more as a mid range phone.

strongly recommends NOT TO BUY this phone, as i am usng this phone and its not a good choice because,

3.2 camera is worse than VGA camera in night(can be used in day)

not good sound quality(should only be used in headset mode)

keypad gone in just normal usage

very very cheap phone Better to go for anyother phone like Nokia N series

This phone is a budget offering hence no Xenon flash but does have other decent features. The K800i/K810i was not a budget phone when they first came to the market. But they are cheaper now.

I know the price is going up,but it would'nt be that high..... k800/K810 is cheaper even equipped it with xenon, and I know what you might think it's old or something. But adding Xenon would'nt hurt that much.

I would buy k810 if it was a bit thinner and has a bigger screen. It doesn't matter if it did'nt have smile shutter, face recognition and the likes. The picture quality matters the most. As for now i'll put my plan on getting another phone on hold. Let's see what comes up. Samsung phones maybe.
