thx confused buddy... but is it true dat smile shutter doesn't work properly and camera quality in low light is poor in c510...all other feature is working properly nah.... pls reply

I know the ****ing phone is a low-midrange one,and I don't expect the lens to be like whoa shit this shoots like my Nikon DSLR or something.Even though it's just a 3.2mp it can still be equipped with Xenon.I do k850 is'nt more stable than the c510.But come on.What I really want to say is,that SE should make a better low midrange cyber-shot phone,like putting a Xenon flash.I admit that the c510 is a capable phone,but it's like Sony ericsson isn't putting any much effort.
Just look the new C901 has a Xenon flash,5mp,smile shutter and face detection but the problem is it's not available worldwide.But the c903 which also has a 5mp.smile shutter and face detection,yep it's almost worldwide,but unfortunately it is only equipped with dual led.
I accept that the c510 has a good new features,as like the smile shutter and the face detection,which my k800i lacked,but what the c510 lacks was the good old bloodline of the cyber-shot family just as the elderly k550 lacked and that was Good old image quality.See?Maybe even now the elderly k810i is cheaper than the c510.But the k810i is still equipped with Xenon.So why not make future models which has a 3.2megapixel equipped with xenon and equipped it with the dun extras like smile shutter.
I liked the c510 as a phone,but as a camera it failed to impress me.

u can take even a banana doesnt have smile shape too.
just press the camera, n it will overide ur smile shutter n it will shoot the pict on spot.

can i shoot an picture without smileshutter. means if the person is not smilling then wil the camera work. or if i want to take a picture of some building then wil it be posible as this camera has smileshuter and building dont smile.

Your all missing the point here. Its a budget camera phone and for what it offers for little money its great. You expect too much from a tiny lens im tiny phone. Its only 3 mega pixels. Mostly for fun snaps ribs taken outside look clear sharp on screen. Tweak your settings experiment. Why oh why do you all keep moaning if you dont like it dont buy it. Sony Ericsson done well to put this many features in cheap phone.

se k850 is better.
but its software seem to have so much problem.
se c510 camera is poor.
but its software is more stable.

A cyber-shot camera phone is made for fusing a camera and a phone.So it should be capable of making pictures right?? I know the c510 has a slimmer body.But when you have another gadget,like another Digicam or an mp3 player.Would'nt that make your bag Chunky and bulky?? Ok let's say another example,is that you left your camera at home all you got is your c510 but your in a night club,how do you make good indoor pictures with that?? What Im just saying here is that the c510 is meant to be a digital camera not just a phone.Right??

Well even though Xenon is build with a thicker body,it can be also be put in a slimmer body,but acceptable,even the Sony Digital Camera T-series are equipped with Xenon even though in a slim body.I know it's a phone not a camera,but in today's technology it is now possible,even the k810's thickness is still acceptable.A Cyber-Shot camera phone should bring good camera qualities even at night not to ruin it.And hey k810i did prove it by beating the waistline of the k800i so why not try it again??

i was a about to buy k850.
despite of its size, i brought c510.
;)
phone wif camera is mean for catch for fun.
if u want a better picture, buy digital camera.
