can this phone be submerge in the water while taking pics? just wondering about the connector, it does not have any cover on it the connector will corrode at some time right? =)

Got mine about 4days ago and I'm very happy with it, except for the battery life which is not as good as I expected. The camera and picture quality is very good, and all the rumors going around about photos coming out yellow, yes they do but only on the 'out the box' settings. If you adjust the settings for the right conditions you will get great looking photos. Use the settings and features of the camera ,people, thats what they are there for. Very awesome phone, SE ROCKS!!!!!

wow.this phone is great...i'm started using it and try to dip it into the water...nothings happen!..battery life is good, it depends on how you use your phone...It's the best phone for me! Go Sony Ericson...^^

Jeff, 22 Nov 2008I gotmy C702 a week ago and its running smoothly,updated it... moreur ryt jeff, dey have a lot of complains about sony ericsson pones, i agree wid u dat its just a matter of how u use and take care of ur pone, some people after spending their money to buy things like celpones dey just dont take care of it, and then if da problems occurs, dey dont stop copmlaining!

BTW, c702 is a better option.

Do u mean 2 days with heavy use or occasional use?
Do u mean you r hoping for a reply as opposed to expecting one?
Is charily another way of saying please in your language?!!?
Anyway, battery is great, its the same one that was in my old phone(k800) and that was still working perfectly after 20 months of very hard usage! All sony's have the BEST batteries around including this one - battery is very very good!

I am currently using the Wayfinder Navigator 3-month trial that my C702 came with, but after that I definitely do not want to pay monthly.
So I would like to know which navigation softwares are compatible with the C702.

ok, i have just got this phone today, and am wondering a couple of things:
1. Google maps is not installed, in the manual it says it should be in location services!? do all of these come with google maps installed or not?
2. How can u get the cam and audio/firmware updates?
3. Apart from the little battery cover lock, the battery cover seems like there is barly anything holding it on, is this the same on all of them?
thanks very much to anyone who gets back to me on this, if i can sort the issues then it seems like it will be a very very good all rounder. :)

hmm...well i think il keep it concise this time. feature-wise, it seems to have loads packed into that indestructible-looking exterior ... very good quality camera, clear music-listening experience, easy navigation, all features sony keeps spoiling us with. excellent choice for the out-doorsy type.
