Andy, 07 Nov 2008In the specification it lists the video camera to be QVGA. ... moreC702 was record a video at QVGA resolution (320x240 pixels) up to 30fps in MPEG-4 format. It means a QUARTER VGA not QUADRUPLE, coz VGA resolution is 640x480 pixels.

I have bought this phone 1 week ago and I am very satisfied I think SE phones started to beat Nokia.
GPS function is very good and shows exactly the position where you are. If you want to buy it do not hesitate.

my opinion, u shouldn't upgrade the software.. just stay with R3CA037
u know what? it got worse.. now everytime i play the video, the sound is good but picture seems tobe lacking.. what a surprise!! the service center said u should wait bout a month for a new software to come.. oh man... :(
hope they fix this nasty bug!

this phone is the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the camera is excelent and it is sooooo loud!!!!!!!!!I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah.. i got it for about a month.. and the screen is all covered in small marks.. it's annoying.. aspecialy when you watching a movie or pics..
although phone itself is great.. gps is workin's smoothly.. and trek buddy - on java is good for navigatin' for free [u just have to prepare all the maps by yourself]..
i really recoment that phone to all interested ;-)

Is it 2.5 audio jack like the Sony Ericsson "w" series?

The 2.2 inch TFT display located on the upper front is well saturated, and photos look bright and colour on it. While it works very well indoors, it’s not the best outdoors. I had a hard time navigating the dark theme I had set.

I... moreYes, my C702 has just started doing all those things. I always thought it was my wifes bluetooth ear piece that kept going wrong when I couldn't hear her for as you say 5-6 secs. Yesterday it switched itself off then on again 4 - 5 times.
Let me know what Vodophone tell you. I'm with O2.

Could someone using the C702 plse tell me , how good is the GPS on this phone . What type of navigation software is Sony using on this model . Is the navigation free like the samsung models (garmin for life ) . Is this phone better than its rivals ie samsung i560 and nokia n78 .

well, i have it just two days ago, and all my friends say this phone is the best ever!!!!, i was seeking the c902, but i prefer this one cuz c902 its to tinny, and i was looking for something more big, i found it and im in love of it,, so 100% satisfied..

c702 + sandisk 4gb + hpm70 = perfect!!
megabass is more awesome with hpm70 instead of standard earphone..
