Goin to buy C702, 26 Jul 2008Why many users giving negative comment at this phone,is any... morePros:
- GPS
- fast Java engine
- 320 x 200 display
Contra:
- real low standby time especialy if using GPS much
- camera for low light situations (night scenes which you can't light up with photo led) actually much worse than K750i (which is still no low level phone IMHO)
- somewhat instable Java engine in my experience
- slow fix without A-GPS
- java programs can be accidentially terminated by pressing the hook up button twice
- Phone seems to be able to be a PAN server but not a PAN client. So surfing with bluetooth using DSL connection of the PC afaik is not possible.

well this phone c702 has well built design bec. it has a water proof and sand proof which help protects your phone from being damage so easily and get dirt...

This is interesting... I notice that Sony Ericsson - on their website - claim SAR value of no more than 1.0 Watt/KG for this phone. This is WAY lower than several similar phones. It may have to do with the thicker construction - rubberized back? Also, since people notice that it doesn't seem to have the strongest reception, perhaps being weaker helps keep radiation down?

had this phone for a couple of weeks, really looked forward to getting it but it has a few weak points. namely the battery life is quite bad, if your using the gps or internet at all. also the media section isn't as nice as the old k800i, there is no play button for instant music and the image thumbnails are not as accessable. to add to this the photos don't seem as clear as the k800i either. also struggling to get the assisted start for the gps to work.
apart from that it looks good and its a general good alrounder.

Would love to run. but here is the fun part. If it had played up 14 days or before. I could have been given new one or refund. mine crashed 16 days so I have to go through the warrenty.( according to 3 )
