Was thinking of getting this handset but seems that the problems are taking forever to be resolved. Sounds like the C905 will be on sale way before this handset is reliable (if ever).Might as well wait a couple of weeks for C905 to arrive.

The new firmware solved some[not of big importance]problems but now i notice something that i didnt notice before.The screen is a little bit dark now.Some photos or wallpapers appear with more intensely colors and the black parts of a photography are more black now.Is that normal?Is there anyone else faced the same problem?And one more question.The publication of software that my phone has now is 1204-1731 R3CA038 080721.Is there a newer one?

or even use the night mode instead of the light for vid capture and take stills from tha instead... many options and also heaps of light and exposure settings to mess with so don't worry bout inconsequential flash issues there's many solutions

and yes zooming in 5 pixel mode is available

the cam flash is perfectly adequate, and video led is amazingly bright, producing sharp balanced well lit vid in total darkness. if the cam flash whitewashes cos your too close to a subject just snap a short vid and save all the quality still shots you want during playback..

I'm using this phone and nothing happens until now. For my opinion, this phone is awesome.. Just a little bit heavier than my old w810i and the cover of the battery is not easy to take it off. I did scratch a tiny paint inside the lid while try open the cover out. Besides, everything works well.

Is this phone still full of bugs with the latest firmware? A lot of users complained about this phone freeze, shut itself off, slow. Any comments?

Jura, 20 Sep 2008question for soniclg: who the hell gave you 6 phones in jus... morehey Jura...i finally got the C902 !!!! ..) .. i love its looks..nothin can beat it.... but i had some probs in takin pictures in dark...it was pathetic... r there any tips to get them better ??

If its on the 5MP mode, can it still zoom? Cause most of SE phones can't zoom after a high pixel but Nokia can..

if u can download updates directly from your phone, try at sony ericsson official web site.
if that doesn't help, u need to reinstall complete software. i recommend that u return phone to the store (if u bought it at T-Mobile, Vodafone, O2....) and the'll do that for free. but if u bought your phone on the black market, i'm sure that there are some people or companies that handle phone services near u.

Cuteman, u are trying to compare 4 different phones. before asking for advice, narrow your choice for a bit. u answered to your questions already! u said witch is best feature of each phone and that's is? if u want to compare phones - then compare same features as camera and camera. and u are comparing one phones camera with other looks..? if u need camera - u allready know which has best. if u want stylish phone, u have the winner, if u want a walkman, buy W series sony ericsson. i wish i could help more, but give us more specific question.
and c902 has better cam then u900 soul. when u compare u900 photos and c902 photos, it's a big difference.

unless your network allows the updates from sony this phone will cause problems as mine has.

Hi..someone help me please, Im confused to choose between this phone, 6220c, kf750 and n78. AMONG THEM, n78 is the cheapest one (and it have business capability-wifi), 6220c is the best cameraphone and the keypad is big (nice for heavy texterman like me), c902 is the best quality of audio (use walkman headset) and have good camera too, kf750 is the best fashion phone, wich is makes u look fashionable n full of charm. So, after learning, and knowing each phone advantages, i'm getting more confuse. Pleaze help me. Thanx.. Oh, i believe that those handset have good quality. (sorry for my poor english)

But on the other hand I am a big fan of Sony Ericsson . . It has to do with taste , design , and I am used to their software and menus,,

question for soniclg: who the hell gave you 6 phones in just 2 months??? :)
didn't have the opportunity to try out lg secret, but i'm not a lg fan so i'll recommend c902 lol. lg is a solid phone, but i couldn't use it if i wanned to... lg doesn't support some changes in software so i can't install progs for mobile banking...
form what i've read, secres is a good phone... i personally don't like the touchscreen soft keys - thinking they could have been more stylish.
but hey, it has 5mp cam, one version has 3G, rather big screen... u just need to fing out about slider (because is so slim, maybe slider won't last long?)
and vicky... i think that xsenon flask is better. led on c902 are pretty bright, but not as xenon. i take most photos at daylight, sunset or spaces with light (little light is required). so it's up to u.
if u shoot 2 photos out of 10 in the dark, u don't need xenon

i had 6 of these phone in 2 monthes cos they all faild in one way or anough they great till they fail and i know of 3 othere's that have had the same problem
