Every has their own Liking
everybody has their own taste
every body has their own needs
so dont take any so called 'Fanboys' word for it or notice..most of them just try to put the brand down which doesnt help..

This phone comes too late on the market.
I hope the software is not as crappy as the one on N95. But nevertheless nice gadget!!

The Nokia bashing here is silly. I have owned both SE and Nokia and my N95 8G is metal and feels very well made. It may not survive dropping as well as an SE, but it is a smart phone - so needs to be treated like any other complex device. In addition, the 3.5mm jack, USB port and other standard connectors on the body are something I think SE are neglecting - including on the otherwise lovely C905. C905 seems like an N95 with style as I admit, the N95 series are not pretty, even if functional. Oh, and the N95 8G is very fast. The longest delay is firing up the media browser - but then it has to load 5MP images and DVD quality videos, so give it some slack.

thanks se for beginning the "8mp" challange. this competition will last until summer 2009 when 10 mp will arise. we already know marketing stratregy of megapixels: "no rush, next year what we will launch??!!". in last 3-4 months, king nokia seems to wait, seems to run around it's own tail, launching a lot of 5mp mobiles, very much the same.indeed, they are waiting the enemy to move first. enemy is of course cybershot branded phones. and they moved. now i am waiting nokia n100,with 8,2 mp, w-vga video and hdmi output

It is just another DUMMY phone with the good camera it seems!? If course you should know that 8 mpx means nothing!? Pumping megapixels just like that while the sensor and optic size and quality remains the same has terrible effect on photo quality.

Turkish, 17 Jun 2008SE is trynna copy Nokia. I have had the K850i 3 times brand... moreWith the Nokia series, you HAVE to find SPECIFIC accessories, that are NOT compatible with EVERY SINGLE model.
For Sony Ericsson, if you still have your old headphones, go ahead and use them now. NOTHING GOES TO WASTE.
With Nokia, build quality is HORRIBLE and it's as if the phone were replicas for children to play with.
As well, if they won't invest in North America (with ALL of their top phones, UNLIKE Sony Ericsson) WHY should we invest our money in their handsets? (This means, NO local technical support, and even with some form of service, the turn around time is utterly slow. It takes atleast a month for a foreign handset to be sent out for repair and a few more weeks just for it to return)

SE is trynna copy Nokia. I have had the K850i 3 times brand new due to o2 replacing my hand set - full of faults ie touch screen not working, phone keeps crashing. I got the Nokia N95 8GB - its the king of all phones & the N96 will b amazing. It looks as if this new SE is the 1st fone with WLAN - Nokia's have had them 4 ages! Its irrelevent that the SE fone is 8MP - some1 had 2 up the camera quality, buit dnt b fooled by this product - stick with Nokia, cnt go wrong & its user friendly. You cnt even put a Tom-Tom on a SE

I think this will be a good phone. 8mpx, WiFi, 3G and...
But i'd prefer a UIQ3 or a WinMob phone.
