The earpiece sucks!!! Vodafone Ireland were slow to market with this, and it seems that they shouldn't have bothered at all. The earpiece packing in is a known problem, it seems. Search "C905 earpiece" in Google and you will see how prevelent this fault is. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Camera is grand, media-player is fine, but if a phone doesn't work as a phone what use is it?

I have the C905 and it totally sucks.
It freezes a lot and the keypad gets ruined by time.

Could all of the users who have had a negative experience with the C905 please list the retailer that you bought the phone through? Just so I know where NOT to buy it from...

my phones just started to scramble, it never fell, neither did it get wet or anything like that, now i cant see any thing on it.

I bought mine a few weeks ago and seems to be a great phone with smile detection, however is seems to be chewing through the battery very fast.
Is there a power saver option on the phone i dont know about??

I am using this handset all most six months. and very happy with what i got. it got everything I need. people saying there is no smile ditection feature in this phone than how come my phone got that? I have not done any software update or anything.....

The sony ericsson c905 cyber shot is having all the great features which a good mobile should have.the camera is excellent.i currently have no mobile but now i want c905,it is better than nokia n958gb because n95 camera is rubbish and cannot challenge c905.

Far'rukh, 18 Jul 2009what the hell man, i really dont have smile detection dude ... morehave you updated the software yet because if you haven't got the latest version there will be no smile detection. most handsets will only have the older software on them which doesn't have smile detection or a few other little changes.

Don't complain if you bought an AP set. Original set didn't have such problems.

ok i'll tell you
my phone comes with about 150MB internal memory and 2 GB memry card. no smile detection is there at all and yes no front camera. i am worried that there is option for video call and back camera works for that... isnt it insanity? is there front camera as well ?

I'm having problems with this phone. I can;t press the 6 key anymore. You have to really put a lot of effort just to press it. I've only had this for a month. And the top slider wiggles!

Wi-fi is terrible--- worked for the first two months, and stopped working, won't find any networks, won't connect to anything manually set up.
The phone also drops calls, if I pick up, the person on the other line can't hear me.
The phone also lags a lot.
I'm switching phones, only thing i'll miss is the great camera they manage to squish in to this thing.

I bought this phone May 2009, and till this moment, i have no regrets.Its really serving me well. Highly recommended!!!

I got the sony ericsson c905 begining of feb loved it but in the last 4 weeks mega problems.when i go to answer it sends busy signal cannot scroll down when using scroll down buttton jumps back to main menu jumps on to internet without touching a button.i had the k850i before this phone and had software problems with that phone also.i have always had sony ericsson but now there seems to be more problems with their phones now camera on the phone is fantastic.now i think its time to try a different phone thinking of going back to samsung which i used to use before sony ericsson

i have had this phone about a week now and its great, i had a k800i then went to a samsung soul. never again am i swoping from a sony they r a great phone A*

there is not smile detection
i brought my own but there is not smile detection in the cell phone
are u making us fool or u have some software or something to put this option there ?
