I don't think s.e will do that. But if it will then I will still be on s.e ,maybe when I get a stable job then I can afford android phones of s.e , but I will not forget my cedar. Working on my screenshots, i'm using silver ic and htc softkey. .

The average selling price is just 166£uros.
Which means its the below 150euro feature phones that constitute a mere 10% in model line-up thats rocking the floor of s.e outlets.
And they are deciding against it.
Nuts.
If s.e is making the decision true, I wont be able to buy a new s.e feature phone as an update for cedar in the coming years as I dreamed of. I will be forced to buy a java multitasking, heap limited, video resolution limited feature-phone like a corby or will be buying the best in range smartphone in 9-10k range, but thats too damn expensive for me.

Looks cool. Though a bit small.
Now I am using htc softkeys by hmnk and silver ic with htc style flash file as wallpaper together. I got te swf from an idiot's 'al in one htc' theme in zedge, who believes putting the flash menu in the theme changes the menu of the phone itself instead of making the file corrupt.
Anyway My friends were shocked to see a 5k phone changing looks into a smartphone..
Cheers to s.e for opening its system and appreciating the concept of modding instead of locking it away like samsung's and nokia's
Too bad those idiots in board decide a smartphone only strategy.
What were they thinking anyway.
They havent launched any feature phone in the two previous quarters and yet feature phones accont for 20% of the total sales. The hell!

my best featured phone and I haven't ever found such a special featured low price multitasking java phone .we realy miss such leading basic product from SE :(

First set default mode to Pc mode. Next go to advanced and in internet settings select connect via phone. Then in usb data accounts select your access point. Now you can connect your phone with pc and access internet with phone as modem. In case if it doesn't work then Install pc companion as it contains some drivers needed to recognise your phone in the pc.

Cedar is not ideal in playing music through loudspeaker. The best way to enjoy music is through headset.

ansubham final is good in clarity and audiophile ver5 good for loudness and bass in headphone.choose your pick.yendo is good for speaker.

The loudspeaker performance in loudness is below average, but in clarity its good.
Thats the default power of the phone.
Besides, it can be very easily boosted for bass, loudness or clarity if you replace its respective acoustic files.

Sony ericsson supports open-os and its system files are accessible to every user.
Ic file is the icons package used in cedar's (and other se feature phone)file system.
Acoustic means the audio drivers of the phone.
You can replace the default acoustic files which are greenheart to reduce noise pollution with more capable ones like yendo's.
And you can change the default icons into more cool looking ones by adding a custom ic file.
Same way, camera driver, softkeys, menu, date and time location, clock size, enabling new options like 'more of the same' in walkman - as seen in new walkman phones, minimising the default browser... Etc and a lot. Can be done through accessing and changing the system files.
The complete procedure for changing acoustics , camera driver..and others Etc are already posted in this forum a lot of times.
Just search the opinions for keywords like acoustic, driver,etc or view the top rated comments

Just heard some sad news folks.
Sony ericsson is going to stop its feature-phone line in 2012.
So there wont be anymore magnificent open source file system, mid-end, multitasking, amazing quality video playback capable, unlimited java and heap sized cedar type phones anymore.
Lets Hope they wont do that.
