gr8 fone with amazing bundled headsets [MH 610].......
just this niggling issue of cracking sound in Media player
May be after some burn in time it may go off or we can try out WD 40 Solution on volume rocker but I'm afraid to try it as paint of the fone may come out..... :(

Regarding the Cracking sound issue in Media Player of cedar.
The main culprit to this is either the firmware OR Volume rocker because while increasing & decreasing volume I get that cracking sound....
As one of the bro suggested I already had tried just reset settings the fone & not RESET ALL . I won't say it completely helped me but the frequency of cracking is lesser during the Playback of music & I felt the sound frm speaker & ear piece to be slightly louder after doing reset settings.

hai! Guys... I brought cedar the day b4 yday... Its too cool.. The adv are It has video calls, multitasking, keypad s best fa texting, also its processor s too fast for even fetching the data in memory card... But disadv s its battery s not far good... For teenagers it will stand for 1day oly but for others it will come 3days.... Bcoz i'll use for textin,browsing all the day...

It can be edited in ubuntu.
Else instal totalcomander.
Press cntrl+pagedown over the .jar file.
Inside there is an .xml sort of file, which contains the file name,midlet name, vendor....
Edit the software and version.

i'm using a extended battery for my cedar it keeps ma battery life upto 4 days with 20h talk time with a single charge it realy works my cedar rockz now
