hey i got a prblm in hearing musik. Wen i plying musik, it pauses a while nd resumes if a msg or dlvry rport is rcvd. Any remids 4 dis! I got my cedar juz b4 2 days only! Its a clas range ph dudes.

yes,abhi is right. cedar is an under rated java mobile with excellent features.
But only problem i
Face from date I purchase is whenever I play songs either by headset or by loudspeaker using 'megabass' option it produces some blurr kinda sounds for all songs.
About battery backup when i use 2g ,it gives about 3 days of standby time and using 3g(bsnl) it gives ,one and a half day.

Guys there r many things which u would never be able to get in any other brand in this price range.
Here r the examples -
Multitasking, 3G HSDPA 7.2 Mbps with video calling, huge internal memory (280 mb), preloaded google maps, much better 2mp camera than other brands, much better sound quality in headphones, really nice screen as compared to other phones of same price range, photo fix, track id, super nice & very snappy user interface, no hanging or switching off, really nice keypad, nice design, preloaded facebook, twitter, myspace, youtube, neo barcode reader apps, onscreen widgets, music call, sense me, ultimate java support, virus free bcoz se's java interface is based on Linux (which is virus free), unlimited msg storage etc......

if u have such a problem with the speaker loudness, open the back cover, remove the mesh covering on the speakers and then try... some guy on this forum suggested it long time back.... it seems the volume increased 5 times for him !!

Nice mobile at this price group.Features which should be highlighted to keep other junkers shut are
1.Multi function support (you cannot find it in any other brand)
2.Music player is nice,, very good with Hea set.(its sonys class)
3.camera-good as 2mp
4.No hangups
5.Good Keypad design
6.3.5mm jack and mini usb port (its a good step by SE)
7.Battery Backup is really appriciable.
8.Java games and application download and install support is one of the great feature in SE (nothing is there to compete)
9.GPRS speed is good.Improved 3g which supports video call.
10.Improved voice clarity & signal catchup
11.Only thing is the external loud speaker is bit a low volume (but 1 flaw in 100 good can be acceptable).
Totally great mobile at this price group ... good value for money. I recommend CEDAR to everyone who expecting mobiles at 5k price range.

my 3 friends are having hanging,virus and charging problems wid cedar n 0ne's camera als0 stopped working. so please dont b fool,buy NOKIA only. if u want to regret like my friends,then only buy this crap.. choice is urs.

@abhi., hai friend, I am die hard se fan.. currently I am using x10 mini.. I suggested cedar to my friend .. his main purpose in mobile is to surf net in pc via mobile.. as per my suggestion he took this mobile one week back... but he regreted his buy since he didn't find pc suite .. I have pc suite 6.0 and pc companion 2.0 .. both didn helped to connect. so I am feeling guilty to face him.. whether this model acts as modem or not .. if it so will you please provide me link to download ..

Cedar is low budget phone, so don't complain with its low quality.
You get what you pay, it's fair enough.

I am nt having cedar bt ya i hav tried it video quality of cedar i found was equally gr8 as stills, der were no blocks or any lack of pixels in rec. I din't find loudspeaker also 'too low' as mentioned by some others it was sufficient enough. The reasn behind its cmparativly less loud volume maybe because it's frm GREENHEART Series and noise-pollution is also counted as an aspect of pollution...

Update ur phone with Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS) & download it from Sony Ericsson website. Backup ur contacts & msgs before updating bcoz updating will delete them.

There is no problem with it's battery life. I'm seeing this problem for the 1st time & as u said yesterday it seems that this has happened only once.
My cedar gives 3-4 days of battery with moderate use.
There may be a problem with ur battery or software .
Update ur software & if still the problem isn't solved than go to sony ericsson service centre.
