What really matters is how much can u do with ur phone rather than some creepy thing like loudness which is not so important if we consider the other features.

Morover opera mini is slow in downloading as compared to the phone itself.

If u r so much concerned abt loudness of loudspeaker than go for some LG or any other brand u like. But after doing that ur friends having se phones like cedar would be teasing u every minute here & there abt how stupid ur LG phone is......
R u gonna play the music to a bunch of people on the street or maybe to a bunch of people in party or maybe replace ur home theatre with a phone......
Stop complaining so much abt loudness.
Loudness is important but not so much that u would turn down everything in front of it.
If u r going in a crowded or noisy place than just turn ur phone to vibration mode & problem solved . If u r at home than just the loudspeaker is sufficient to do it's purpose(it's not as much weak as u r bragging it to be)
Other than that left is college or office where everyone keeps their phone at vibration mode, so pls tell me where else do u need ur phone's speaker loudness ???

hey dudes. I got my cedar day b4 ystrdy. And i dwnlded operamini 5. Bt im nt satisfid wit dwnldng speed. Hw can i incrs tat! And tel about batry bakup. Hw many hrs it tak to be fuly chargd!

i've read all the comments about the sound of this se cedar phone.. i also experience it and if im not mistaken it is not design as walkman/ loud music. it is more on internet access thru phone and basic navigations. if ever i just hope that se will work into it thru updating software on the phone so we can also enjoy the phone as walkman.. as well as the picture feature.

ok so is it the same with you guys about having it hard to hear it ring when someone calls you and lets say there is some normal background noise and its in your jacket or other examples where you should hear your phone clearely when on max volume? or is it this one that is broken from fabric, ok thx for that update thing, i should check that out, i havnt realy gotten an answer here, this max volume of 8 should be atleast 16...

J108i is such a creepy fone.,the basic features are very good except for the loudspeaker.,Sony would've sold a lot more Cedars if the fone had a better speaker.Multitasking and internet is decent if not great.,fone has got a very attractive look and a sexy keypad,..!! Battery life is very good. I've heard software update does help with the sound thingy but hey, speaker is hardware and do not expect a miracle updatin ur software.,The fone is just another marvel sans graded(atleast standard sony) audio feats.

After updating to new version R7EA011, its working like a charm & sound in headphones is feeling like somewhat increased. Updated just before 2 hours.

btw i wanted to s... moreI agree with u that sound loudness in loudspeaker is low & it should be fixed but there r many things which u would never be able to get in sh*t like LG or any other brand(no offense) in this price range.
Here r the examples -
Multitasking, huge internal memory (280 mb), preloaded google maps, much better 2mp camera than other brands, much better sound quality in headphones, really nice screen as compared to other phones of same price range, photo fix, track id, super nice & very snappy user interface, no hanging or switching off, really nice keypad, nice design, preloaded facebook, twitter, myspace, youtube, neo barcode reader apps, onscreen widgets, music call, sense me, ultimate java support, virus free bcoz se's java interface is based on Linux (which is virus free), unlimited msg storage etc......

When I searched for software update from my mobile, it said you have latest software. But when I updated using pc, my cedar gets updated from old R7DA056 to new version R7EA011.
