btw i wanted to say i find it hilarious the music they give with the phone, background noise of an airport? restaurant? office? is that music? you just hear background noise of a restaurant like as if ur in a restaurant lol but geuss what! you dont hear any of it cause of the real background noise your in.
i dont want to meddle or be the bad guy but you people wanting to buy this phone, i say check it up first, test it, re-test it, there are to menny real brands out there with mutch better and stronger phones. ,this one is ok for 15euro's not a cent more.
i had sony ericsson before and was very happy with it, thats years ago when SE was cinda new, now its the last on my list, my next phone i love will be the LG gc900. ,its just unacceptable the way they block the volume and its not the first SE to be like this, am pretty shure you gona answer me you have the same problem and ther aint nothing to do about it, this max volume ear damage protocol is for a cat with headset on, not for humans!... for the rest its a good phone i geuss as long as your a cat who wants to wait 5min to loud facebook and stay out of the rain and have a good grip with ur hands cause this phone is like a puk on ice, but hey thumbs up for recycled material ;)... yea i dont like this phone lol nor SE, someone has to be critical, for those who'll buy and regret but its all up to you and your taste is what counts, dont listen to me, and am waiting on feedback of my little problem, thx...

Hi all, i need help about SE Cedar
1st: with cedar you mean ''Sony Ericsson j108i'' ?
if yes am att the right place, ok here is my problem
my mom bout it yesterday for herself, the speaker volume is bad just to bad in a way i cant believe.
am looking up the whole internet and all i find is people talking about the low volume with headsets or low volume with music and so on, but what about ringtones, what about hearing ur phone ringing while you watch tv or while your talking with a friend and your phone rings 5m from you on the desk ?
this is just unacceptable the way this phone is low volume, iv set it on max volume (8) and it dares telling me ''watch out loud settings can damage your hearing'', wtf? i swear on max volume i have to put the down side of phone against my ear to even be able to hear the different sounds of the music, we where talking and i heard something and it was the phone 3m away on desk ringing, omg luckely i have good ears lol, what about a wakeup ringtone? she would never hear it, my dog scratching himself is louder, am no noob to phones iv done all the settings, i know SE is like that.
MY QUESTION: do you guys have same problem ? plz help
i wanna know if this is a fabric damage or whatever or if this is with everyone, so do you have the problem about not hearing your phone ringing while you should, i can hear my LG VIEUWTY from far away watching a movie on loud, my phone's wakeup alarm can wake up the neighbors ''car alarm ringtone'', iv bleutooth it to my moms new cedar and its just freaking loooow.
sorry am new on forums, thats why i wright a book for a simple question :(

you buy a cheap phone (uh cheap) 60euros yesterday 16.01.2011, just to call and be calld and you cant hear it ringing?sony ericsson? all you guys who has normal phones and e.g. max volume is 10, put it on 3 and thats max of the cedar, my lg has to be on 1 and is still slightly louder.

My elder brother just bought an SE Cedar in Silver/white color. Wen i heard abt da color i thought WTF** such an excellent choice of fone & so ridiculous choice of color. Bt wn i actually saw da color, it was so elegant and ROYAL luking unique combination...

select advanced mode and then internet via phone and select proper access point
if u dont have access point then ask ur service provider
and ya dont forget to install pc suite came in phone
after this internet will connect automatically

hello to all, i got the SE Cedar for a mounth now and i am verry pleased about it, i got it new for the price of 39 euros, for this pice you get a good mobile phone with great features, its simple, elegant and nice, and it good for browsing also, love it, i also got a SE k700i that is 7 years old and still does his job, verry please about this company and i trust the quality of they products

good looking mobile.. music in headphone is very good. and speaker is poor.. video calling is ok not bad.. camera calirity is superb even though it s 2 MP.. camera s comparable to 5 MP of nokia X2.. phone visibility is very good.. overall for camera and music system(only in headphone its a very good mobile and also comparably low price..

Display is bright and vivid colors, but that's not enough.
When playing videos or playing games, screen becomes pixelated.
It's only 256K anyway.
Camera is poor, Sound is terrible.

How is java performance compared to nokia? Are games laggy?

Dear SE,
pls re-lanch walkman series (with walkman player 3.0) with 3.5 mm jacks... i really love W595, W395 etc...but fast-port is a no-no.... and good attempt with spiro (although no one's buyin it!!) . . . so pls give a lil attention to mid price range phones too... and pls discard fast-ports!! plz...

Hi friends somebody please help me. I wants to play some large size games (between 4 to 5 mb ) but mostly all the java games in wap sites are only 1 to 2 mb I wants to play very big games but all the games are in was sites are sis. And sisx. Format which is not supported by cedar. So friends please help me to play big games . Like 4 to 5 mb . If anybody know about big sites please reply here thank you friends.
