Jos, 10 Jan 2011After about 3 months of usage I have encountered a problem ... moreU encountered a problem with software not the 3.5 mm jack as master reset resolves the problems relating to software , not hardware.
btw... One day my Naite suddenly stopped connecting with other phones via bluetooth , so I did a master reset & the problem was solved . Till now no more bluetooth problems in Naite & it still works like charm.

the sound quality is not good as our old 5130, but it`s oke with me...besides that, u got for what u pay...no perfect phone in this low price area phone...i`m so proud to have this phone

the phone battery discharges a bit after full charge
and they say its normal !

does this unit support group/list? i send lots of SMS to groups of contacts. If there is, how many can be added to a group/list and how many can you send SMS at once? i have nokia, can add 50 contacts but send to only 20.

After about 3 months of usage I have encountered a problem with cedars 3.5mm audio jack...when I plugged in my earphone's early this morning the phone suddenly started asking me to record voice command's and when i rejected I heard strange background noise from the earphone's then I changed the earphone's once again it asked me about voice command's upon rejection the strange background noise would follow then I restarted the phone but it didn't help.. created some voice command's but the noise was still there when I played a mp3 file I could hear the noise which was very annoying... My last resort was the master reset did the master reset and rectified the problem now there's no noise and the audio is perfect... Anyone had this kind of trouble with their cedar?

If any one want cedar theme just download from mobile9.....elm theme or zylo or hazel theme work on cedar fine.... If any quaery just email me i am using cedar upto 3 month and plan to buy a60 micromax........kirtiazad1111@gmail.com

I bought cedar yesterday,nd believe me this is the best phone ever in this prise range. fantastic battery backup lasts 2 days with lots os surfing,downloading (15 songs & 65 wallpapers),over 500 msging communication,2.30 hourse of calls. graphic is seeming to have HD quality and facility of multitasking upto 10 apps at a time makes cedar attractive. excepting music nothing is wrong with thius phon. java works fantastically. downloading speed nd surfing is awesome,never seen such speed.camera is also fine(whn u start camera u vl see poor quality bt 1nc u capture it vl look fantastic morover ther is an option of fix photo that provides reality to d captured images). i m fully satisfied wid ths1. if u want to ask anythn abt this phon plz post at-haarshmadhvi@gmail.com u vl b soluted perfectly. thnx.. & ya dont miss this phn, if u ve rs.5500.

It can be set to require you to enter it whenever the phone is powered up. Phones often request a security code when the SIM is changed so the SIM needing a PIN when placed in a new handset is not a bad idea.
Not sure about the off to charge issue but this may be the get first charge in properly.
Let me know as I keep my phone on 24/7 and turning it off to charge would be inconvenient to say the least.
