Battery is decent which means when you use the phone more like browsing, movie watching etc battery drains very fast (will get max talk time around 4 hrs) as this phone is continuously used during these activities.
On the other hand when this phone is used occasional like 2 or 3 calls a day with little music or radio listening etc battery lasts more (usually more than 4 or 5 days)
Also if you use this phone more via usb to transfer to pc for internet, transferring content etc phone gets automatically charged like a powerless pen drive due to the magic microUSB connection.

Youtube video watching only consume around 3 mb for 5 minute video, so you can use internet as unlimited with a cheap 1 or 2 GB gprs internet plan, if 3 g is not available on your city

Also to mention, Cedar have micro USB meaning you can charge & connect to computer at the sometime using data cable.
Important use of this is when you use phone as a modem, you need not worry phone battery get drained due to extended internet usage as battery get automatically charge while using the internet via phone or computer.

This phone not only allows phone to act as modem for computer, but also can use computer's internet connection (like LAN) for connecting in phone very easily. very useful to use internet as much as you like at blazing broadband speeds of your PC, without caring about 3G download rates.
Concerning pdf viewer, I am not sure whether cedar is bundled with it, but surely you can add java app (.jar) ebook reader in this phone very easily.

Cedar's google maps for measuring distance between any place on earth, for getting directions etc etc & accuweather for weather forecast & prediction for next 5 days is realy amazing & helpful tool which can predict thunderstorms, lightening, snow, rain, temperature etc.
Ability to add geotags to picture taken can help viewrs were is the place situated in globe, realy useful
Youtube video playing is so smooth, upload, live streaming, twitter, email, facebook etc
Cedar is really a top class communication gadget for all who do not want to spent more, yet need a powerful mobile.

video call is surely possible with cedar, either you take a fresh photo to share or use live video from main camera, if u always need to put ur face on calling party's screen then cedar is not for you.
