Is it loud throught the earspeaker when taking a call?if it louder than w910 earspeaker then its good because,when taking a call with w910 the earspeaker sound is very very low i can't even hear a caller when walking in street

First of all... it's really hilarious that u call Rs. 5400 a high price.
In ur full comment u stated that it's loudspeaker sound is low(well... I agree on this one) but after that u concluded it by saying that sound quality is low (which is not true).
Why r u mixing sound quality & sound loudness?
btw...
Sound loudness is only low in loudspeaker( the only fault ) otherwise this phone is nice & u can't just judge a phone on it's loudness.
And this loudness problem is not a permanent one.
SE naite had this problem when launched but after about 2 months a firmware update solved that problem , se zylo which also had low loudspeaker volume has been updated few days ago which has solved the problem. So, most possibly cedar would also have a software update to solve it.

The sound system is low n pathetic. if we keep full volume some beep sound is coming and distorted.there is no manual equalier setting . is there any possiblity to get d manual setting after d software update anyone reply

I purchased this phone for Rs 5300+ tax in Bangalore. Its a basic bar phone. The call quality is low, in traffic its not clear. The speaker volume for ringtones is low. Playing songs on the speaker phone is low. The phone looks good in your hands, the keypad is kind of rubber and feels good for sms. The phone overall sound quality is very poor for this high price. For a basic phone targeted at the masses, ringtone volume, call quality, mp3 songs on speaker phone should be loud and clear, unfortunately this phone lacks the above features. The headset is 3.5mm good quality. Playing videos on the phone with speaker is useless, as the volume is very low. Sony ericsson you let us down once again, and have lost your position in the top 5 of world sales of mobile phones and if you do not improve, you might as well close than bring grief to your fans.

Can you atleast tell us what you were expecting from se...what else do you want at this price range...this is the first time se been so generous otherwise all of their midrange devices would start at 7000rs...if you want high features you'll have to pay more cant you understand that...

if u can bear lower speaker volume and a not-so-good camera , then u can upgrade from ur old k750(i used it for 3 yrs myself) to cedar.

I own Sony E... moreHi I bought Cedar a couple of days back , its working well , I would recommend this phone .
But really its not an apt replacement for K750 (i used k750 for 3yrs) . Cedar's camera lacks autofocus and no flash included , so dont expect it to be as good as it was back in the k750 .
Cedar is better than k750 in many other ways , can store msgs in Microsd card. good display, faster ui etc
there is no major issue regarding cedar, the charger is perfectly fine.

Cedar is not a replacement for k750 regarding the camera (no autofocus or flash whatsoever). But Cedar performs better than K750 in many other departments . If you want to buy a Cedar , buy it but dont expect the same camera features ! BTW cedar is 3G and k750 is not

I don't buy this cedar to playing multimedia files or taking pictures.
I'm not SE hater neither another brand lover, just a customer who try to be realistic.
I think none of us is expecting it sounds like Kenwood.
None of us is expecting it takes picture like Nikon.
But yes, this is not what we're expecting from SE...
It's just too below average...

its OK for the price range...
for better camera u need to spend more.
The mobile camera will never suffice the hungry/thirsty photographer in U for that have a Digital camera........

U r getting 3G with HSDPA , 280 MB internal memory ,preloaded google maps ,16 gb internal memory , true multitasking ,completely smooth ui without any lag , a decent 2mpx camera ,sense me ,music call ,good battery backup, no hanging or restarting ,3.5 mm jack with good sound quality, on screen widgets , facebook ,twitter for a price of INR 5400 !!! & still u r saying that camera is not good.
Give me any example of samsung or nokia 2mpx cameraphone in this price range which captures better images than cedar than I will accept that se has not delivered what it should have......
If u want the real se camera quality than u seriously got to pay more for that .
