abhi, 17 Nov 2010I have both naite & cedar and as u said I have also exp... morei have bought naite and now i want to buy one another mobile. i should go for naite or cedar??? bcoz you have experience of both. hw is keypad? pls reply.

i just bought cedar a 2 days ago,and it's working fine,it just gave me an error last time sayin "INACTIVE SIM" so I turned off the phone and turned it on again and its working,it happened on my old SE G502,is it a problem of SE phones? the sound is not that loud,but the 3.5mm jack is doing pretty good,sound is loud enough when in noisy places.call quality is good,but the speaker is not loud enough for me.camera has good brightness,performs just like my old SE G502 but tooks brighter pictures.

I guess have to purchase MH700 OR MH710 separately....
About data cable I read in online that the power adapter is separate & u can remove the usb cord frm it & the attach it to PC also just confirm....

imee, 17 Nov 2010hi , Data cable is not given along and has to be purchased ... morehi .. no data cd is included with cedar .. download the latest version of pc companion (preferably version 2). As i found an earlier version in the memory card bundled with Cedar , didnt support internet connectivity. duplicate data cable is suffecient to use internet no genuine cable required.

hi , Data cable is not given along and has to be purchased seperately . I bought a duplicate data cable which helps file transfer only and not internet connectivity ... Can any one tell me what is the price of the original data cable for cedar ?

My naite when just lying around shows complete 5 bars but when I pick it up in my hands the bars drop to mostly 4 (3 also but very rarely).
But I can without hesitation say that cedar has very good signal strength.
No drop in signal even if held in hands.

I have tried many samsung & nokia phones like sam metro 3310 ,corby ,star 3G ,shark & nokia 3310c ,6303 ,c5 & I used to have "3230 & n81" in past & cedar's earphone loudness level is on par with them & clarity is even better than some of them.
So I don't think there is any need to increase earphone loudness.

the phone looks gud, surfing is also fast and keypad is also gud in gripping but the problem is with speaker. very low and u cant even listen outsideor noisy place . i always put it in vibra mode other wise it is gud

hi everyone i am using cedar from 2 weeks and it is a very nice phone belive me it is worth for its price range the sound is below average in speakers but has great clarity through headphones if u want more louder than choose voice option rather than megabass it works trust me for those who say that ther is no zoom u can take a pic and then zoom it and it gives satisfactory results using internet is liki breeze u can sail through any website using operamini 4.1 and also u can play youtube videos very nicely batterybackup is also verygood it lasts for 2days when i listen songs f0r 2hours and browsing internet fo 1and half hour roughly other than playing games etc congrgs sony but unfotunately i lost my mobile yesterday now i am planning to buy cedar again in jan 2011 coz its very good

First of all... it's really hilarious that u... moreIn SE Cedar, the main issue is sound and call quality, in a phone targeted at the masses the ringtone should be loud,the call quality should be loud and clear to be audible in busy areas like road,traffic etc, the speaker phone should be loud when you listen to mp3 songs or when you turn on the radio. All mobile manufacturers maintain the above as standard. And samsung is doing a good job with regard to entry level phones with lesser price band. We are all sony ericsson fans. The company should also remember that and cater to the needs of the customers. Else people like samsung who were nowhere are now no 2 in the market in terms of sales volumes.

the earphones bundled with the cedar are not that good. If you have a 3rd party 3.5mm headphones of great quality , they will work very nicely !
the music quality on earphones is good with mega bass settings.
