you can flash and customize this phone with a2uploader. you need acoustic in wbxml format to change the sound quality. you can download the firmware from topsony or 4shared.

my bro hav NAITE now n only prob i see with this set is low speaker volume n this is the same reason why i m still waiting for hands on experience on CEDAR as they see almost same in specs n rate n also some ppl are complaining of low speakler volume in CEDAR too.
pls buddy throw some light about increasing the volume in NAITE

and also cedar is less expensive then naite 500rs less cedar price in univercell is just Rs.5,240 and naite Rs.5,769 .cedar is best after changing the software and increasing the volume i have added w980i acoustic u can add w595 also as the size is the same 2.2inch

u can change the acoustic of cedar to a walkman and the sound will incrzzz like hell and also u can add equalizer use a2 uploader guyzz so simple

while going to charge the phone in switchoffmode,it become switched on...@all user of cedar : kindly know me same thing happened to your phone or my phone is the faulty one?

As I told in the last comment Cedar always lacks behind the Naite. We know that the sound quality both in headset and speaker is not too high in both the phones, so in dis case, the equalizer in naite has a worthy function of manual which can be set by us to increase the sound in some noisy places, but in cedar there is no manual equalizer, it's d fate of those who bought cedar to hear a low sound and some are saying that bcoz of 3.5mm jack cedar ranks high but remember by changing the bundled headset of mh300 to HPM77 and some others we can have that 3.5mm in naite too. So Naite always ranks high in functions than cedar except new menu interface and fast 3G network.
