Aasiif, 03 Jan 2012Guysss...a shocking newsss...2day aftr using a software cal... moreok, dont be confused, the JDbanchmark only counts the colors of the screen lcd, but not the PPI Pixel Per Inch density, SE X10 has 65k colors, but the PPI density was 200+ which means that there are more pixels per inch in the display which produces the same colors as 262k when viewed, here's the trick, nokia uses more colors but the pixel count was less compared to others, while the SE uses fewer colors but the PPI count was higher, so what's the point? nokia uses more colors in their screens but fewer PPI which results in over saturated images, SE strategy fewer colors but more PPI density resulted in more natural and neutral colors, (more like a marketing strategy), try comparing SE 262k screen in nokia 262k, and you you will see the difference, and that's exactly the reason why SE displays produces more colors even though their screens are much smaller ^^

Aasiif, 03 Jan 2012Guysss...a shocking newsss...2day aftr using a software cal... moreTry to run JBenchmark on other 16M phones like LG Arena or Blackberry Torch, and you will see that LG and Blackberry are cheating people too, according to Jbenchmark. And do the test also to Nokia 6680 (262k color), and it'll show you it has 16M color like other Nokias.

Guysss...a shocking newsss...2day aftr using a software called JBenchmark i learnt dat d colour screen of cedar is only 65536 instead of 262000....i thought it was wrong so i carried out a test 4 my nokia C6,,,but d software showed 16777216 colours...den again on nokia c5,,,it showed 16777216 colours.,,it means sony ericsson cheated us...Real Shame !!

Naite and cedar got the same hardware except for... moreyou could find the different if you zoom a naite pic.
Also naite has a different cam. So there aren't any moded cam driver for naite.

i am a proud owner of cedar since nov2010..but wrecked the back cover accidentally. A few months back..
Contacted in service centres for a spare housing, but they said- sony doesnt supplies spare body parts for it..
Can any one say if original or 3rd party manufactured spare housing is available for this unit ?

Same display unit.

Buddy all Java phones out in the market are midp 2.1 devices.
Check cedar's white papers (official manufacturer info) too.

Hey guys happy new year.
I m using this phone from past 5 months.
Battery backup was very nice
Internet speed was excellent ,i m using Vodafone IN
Music was cool
But it doesn't have good loud speaker,when i press the button of loud speaker its not been good all the time

Its a very nyc phone.....gud quality at a reasonable price...but guys plz tell me how 2 use camera 2 shoot portrait pix...i cant figure it out lyk nokia....oh & how can i use acoustics & is 720p or 480p HD videos r supported..???? Thanxx in advanceeeeee...
