arki, 14 Mar 2011hi! can anybody help me in deciding which phone im going to... moreif you want it all, then buy a more expensive phone which has qwerty and office editor. Try blackberry. I don't know about it's camera but I think it's quite good. But if you have Elm, you won't regret coz this phone rocks.. The problem with people is they don't get contented of what phone they have. They always complain wishing my phone was this or that. I tell you, the moment I had Elm, i got satisfied and wished no other phone.

i've been using sony ericsson phones for over 5 years now..they are all good phones,from camera to specs..what i love with sony ericsson is the camera,even if it's 2mega pix only, the photo's are still good..and this Elm?it's a good phone..have this phone and it's great..my only problem with all sony ericsson is the signal..poor siganl..other than that, Elm and all sony ericsson phones are great..hope they will do something with the signal..

hi! can anybody help me in deciding which phone im going to buy? my choices are the ff. SE ELM, Nokia E5, Nokia E63. I love the features of the elm specially the quality of its camera but i want to try qwerty phones and the elm is not supported by MS Editor. E5 and E63 does have a MS editor and a qwerty phone but thecamera is poor.they also say that the 3g connection in E63 is poor. haissst. pls. help me.

Otherwise there is no comparison between these two bcoz functionally they belong to entirely different classes. E52 is a symbian s60 phone and Elm is a java feature phone. Each has its own plus and minus. In general an S60 phone gives you more features but a java phone has its own powerful way of being almost equally functional. Infact, my use of a phone requires a windows or symbian, but I settled back to SE java phone after a few trials. This is because, even though a smart phone almost behave like a computer interface and Nokia, generally offers more possibility of customisation, a SE phone's interface has an intellectual charm.
So I suggest you do a thorough comparison before making your choice. And about the camera.. E52 has one of the best 3.2mp camera and the video also is very good. But Elm's camera is better, it proves at least the excess pixels. One speciality of E52 is it records voice very well and reproduces it aloud(both voice rec and in video rec also). One defect I noted is that E52 has no option for recording during a phone call, so it is very difficult to record a conversation...

I love SE handsets but the thing that I fear ... moreJoystick was a problem indeed with SE phones, not just for W200 but for K750, K510 etc. SE has stopped fitting joystick but they are keeping the fastport sys connector for there must be something to create trouble.

Keypad of elm is good, it has no joystick, the D-pad is firm and nice, the middle button is wide enough and rigid, overall the keypad is ergonomically good too. My only personal dislike about the keypad is that it doesn't feel so good when my nails rub with the greenheart material of the numeric keys. Well, I can manage it, just cut off my nails clean- lol.
So you need not bother about the keypad.
