peace out, the phone is pretty damn decent. i'm not saying it's the best, but come on; it's sexy, has good sound, the 2mp camera isn't exactly the best, but whatever, the games are fun. although the not being able to support custom themes part sucks, and it's so hard to find any games for this! and i bought it because i thought it was a, what, GAMING phone!

Just because there are some minor defects in the phone doesnt mean its a failure. You guys that want a W395 because it "better", maybe its not? If the W395 is going to be similar to the F305, won't it be the same platform/programming? Still the same defects.

Well u can negotiate with the seller.........I negotieated and got a free usb cable =) and instead of the original 512mb i asked for 1gb xD

The only solution is to reset your phone.not master reset.the problem is that our phones get memory build up. But the thing i hate is that when you do the reset thing,yu lose your sms,calendar notes and playlists.you also have to redo your ringtone,message alert tones etc. I think they must take back our phones and give us the w395

my phones software is working well but something it gets slow.thats ok for me.
the big problem is that the phone is not supporting themes i tried very thing.
i got it for themes but it is not working at all.

I just bought this phone although sound quality is good camera is average but wats killing me is software is bad
and Scrolling through music or Menus is Painfully slow ?
Is this happening with everyone , or have i got a bad or defective piece ?

I've just bought this phone. It cost me 160 euros, here in Greece. It is a good price but I'm going to return it to the store on Monday. The photos I take are ok but when I put them in the background they look like sh*t. A friend of mine sent me several photos via bluetooth but when they came to me they looked like sh*t, too (even if she had a sony ericsson herself,too). However, when I place the pictures that are in the cell from the beginning, they look just fine and they cover the whole screen.
Most of the photos I took today inside a store where green even if it was in auto light balance. This cell-phone has too many unnecessary stuff and many necessary set-ups (like the ones my nokia 6280 had) are missing. I hate this sony ericsson model although I was always satisfied by the company's mobile phones.

My f305 is doing same thing.freezing and slowing down.that guy's phone isn't the only one doing that.i love SE but this phone's software is not good.coz i also get that message with my apps.and the people at vodacom are failing to comply with that

the phone is excellent. the comment below me (the really annoying and long one) asked, "why would you want a phone that will freeze/hang up on you?"... real ignorant there buddy. just because the phone hangs up on YOU, and freezes on YOU, doesn't mean it freezes/hangs up on the REST of us. I have this phone, why does it work perfectly? I'm not saying that just because MY phone works perfectly means that EVERYONE ELSE'S phone works perfectly, but... his opinion does not mean that every SE f305 is a failure.
It's really hard to base a judgment on buying this phone by reading these opinions. Some people have lemon phones (meaning, they've unfortunately received the bad units from the company) and some have the phones that work perfectly. These goes for ANY phone.
