Angad, 23 Jan 2010i got this phone for Rs15467 last year (325USD) well i brou... morethat also happened on my phone. My phone's touchscreen stop working because of pressure and mishandling. I often lock my phone before its touch stopped working and I noticed that the too much pressure exerted on its screen while it is lock caused it to be damaged so what I did when it stopped working. I stopped locking the phone and the touch slowly worked time after time

If you want to save it in the phone memory, don't click save but after you have edited a picture, go to other apps. for example, I press the messaging button then the note button to exit in the picture editor. After that, go to pictures in the file manager. (Phone memory)

im currently using dis phone and it z workin perfectly..its been 6 months...xcept it hangs sometimes ..oderwise no prob as such..der was once

i got this phone for Rs15467 last year (325USD) well i brought it home from day 1 i saw lag but it had great features like MULTITASKING which even the iphone doesnt have a 3.2 camera that worked like a charm. this phone always did have a hanging problem then 6months later tochscreen stopped working then 6 months later suddenly network problem it tells me EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY Shit!!!
i go spend 1100RS (25USD)n still they cant fix it
i just wanna say in the end is that its just gr8 phone gr8 features but outdated n greater cons i dont know how to trust SE again
DONT BUY IT EVERRRR!!!!!!!

Nurul Huda, perhaps you'd better have a T280: it's much faster and appropriate for your skills and needs :)

I was very disappointed with the G700. Have always used Sony Erisccon phones, but this one is a shoddy model. The touchscreen stopped working in 6 months. It was fixed but then stopped working again 6 months later - this time just out of warranty period. Now after just 1.5 years the whole phone is dead and according to the service center not repairable unless i spend another half of what the phone cost me. Just not worth it. I wont waste my money on Sony any more.

Hai Nurul Huda,This G700 is a good phone,you may need to update your firmware,don`t throw it as rubbish,get the latest firmware for this model from sonyericssson and update your phone.

My G700 is almost perfect but only one that bothers me, the # or space key is malfunctioning. it is no hardware issue as i could type phone #s without a problem. I only encounter this problem when typing words/text. its irritating.

hi i wasted my mony for byiny this mobile. it found allways hanging problem. past 6 month 5 times i re-installed my mobile software, some times touch screen also creating problem not at all responding when we touch. charging also not enough good.

hi im from bandar perda, i got this fon but , i dint like it,, this fon alwaz hang hang hang hang hang hang hang only,,,better throw at rubbish,,,,,, who make this fon all is can't use la, alwaz hang only,,, please check it out,,,, u all just know to make only,,, but donno wat is problem all, wan take people money only, coz tat u all rich........... plaese check 1st before launch it,,,

I am facing a problem in my cell phone Sony Ericsso... moreHi...the only way i guess to correct the problem of wrong memory shown or filling up of the phone memory upto 150 mb or even 160 mb is to master reset it

>Step One-Backup
Its easy as the backup options are very good
go to Contacts>More>Contact Manager and Backup
Do the same for your Notes and Calandar
These are backed up to your memory card
>Step Two-Verify Backup
Delete a contact/note and go to Contacts>More>Contact Manager>Restore
check whether the deleted contact is restored
It will unless you have a memory card problem
Then master reset from the Settings and there you go phone memory is down to 15 mb!!!
Then restore your contacts,notes and calender.
Then scan fore media files in ur mem card,those will come back
Tadaaa...u have a new phone!!
Run an update,i think u'l get better performance of sum applications and keep backing up ur stuf every now and then so that u can restore..
U can even backup using PC suite.cheers

Mobile is looking very nice, so I bought it. After 3 months my touch didn't work properly. I went to the sony ericsson pc link in margao, goa (india) service center, he took my mobile checked in front me for 15 minutes then he went inside, after sometime he came out n told me mobile has defect n showed me the big visible damage near screen, he told me he can make but the charge will be Rs 1800/- He damaged my mobile n gave to me to have such amount of money! But didn't repaired it as I am in warrenty period. common sense, if he was checking my mobile for 15 minutes in front of me, won't he shows the damage that time only? why he took inside? If the damage is so visible, can't I tell him 'this is a damage'? as it is near to screen!
I'm very much worried about service center of the sony ericsson as I have paid Rs 13900/- for that mobile. If anyone from the sony ericsson can help please call me on +919823461352.
