i too had same prob with g700 , but i made software update , now my mobile is too fast , my frnd too said about this prob when he too updated the software it is fast. so plz update u r mobile software in sony center its in "greams road" chennai. near mount road ....

my g700 don't save pictures..video is ok..but not the camera.can anyone help me with this problem?

well i ve been using ths phone for a year nw and i have 2 say its quite a nice phone. on the downside the touch screen is not v sensitive,it hangs sometimes but dont they all, what i really miss is call recording, wifi - they shud ve included tht for this price range especially compared to oher phones in ths price range hav it.

If touch screen is not working then juct drop it from say 2 feets from backside and then check.. mine was also not working and then it dropped by chance, since then its working...

Does anybody have a software solution for that? I'd really like to record some calls I receive - without the help of the Intelligence services :))

Well thank God for G700 phone. The phone have a full version that u need ok, and if u are haveing problem pls contact me at +2347038167668 i will help u solu ur problem ok. Yeah before i close. G700 is a nice phone. In fact is the best 4rm sony ericsson wit video call and internet browsing. B4 i close do u know dat u can browsing free in dis world. I am an unfortunate consumer of Sony Ericsson Mobile phone, model no. G700 which I bought immediately after it was launched in Sep '08.
About 2 months afterwards, one of the keypad LEDs went off. I however did not raise a complaint thinking it was a minor matter.
However some months more later, other problems started up like the mobile not taking charge, touch screen faulty etc. Finally I took it to the service centre in Sep'09. The service centre personnel after behaving in an extremely unhelpful and lackaidaisical manner, finally accepted the phone and promised to call me once the phone was ready without any promise whatsoever as to when that time will arrive.
After numerous followups, I finally was called to the service centre in the month of Dec '09 and handed over the phone. On checking, the touch screen was found to be replaced, but the led remained off. I returned it to the service centre and was again promised a call, which never came as before.
Today, I finally went to the service centre and picked up the phone. The service centre refused to allow me a battery so that I can check the phone before accepting and it was simply handed over to me.
I come home and find the old problems in the LED, that too after the phone having spent over 4 months in the service centre !!! Additionally, the charger does not seem to connecting properly and the batter is loose, which means that to keep the phone on, I must put a piece of paper in the battery compartment or hold the battery physically with my fingers !!
Not only have my problem not been attended to but new ones have bben added now.
I loved the features of the phone and thats why I bought it, but now the experience has become a nightmare.

I am not going to settle for anything less than refund of the amount in full now from Sony Ericsson.

I am using sony from last five years but this one is the worst. i bought it just 20 days ago. I used K750i and W700 those were the best. the alarm wont ring if it is on vibration. no mark several option u have to delete massage one by one.
and it is very slow even sometime freeze. Is there any way to exchange with any other sony.

i've been using sony erickson long before, but this G700 is the worse mobile phone I ever had!!. deleting messages takes long time because the touch screen dosen't work, i have to delete it one by one and its time consuming!!.
All I can say is, Pls. do not waste your money with this kind of phone.
