I had a lot of problems with this phone..Although, the camera is good enough, but, this phone usualy just freezes up. If your considering buying this phone, better think twice..good day to all

The awakening alarm is not in function when the phone is shut off.Even the first generation mobiles,ten years ago, were ringing to awake you even when they were shut off.
How is it possible for such a high tech mobile not to have this characteristic.
How is it possible that it escaped the mind of the engineers who designed it?

What does DOCUMENT EDITOR AND READER refer to in the specifications, will I be able to open Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF files on this Phone? Thanks

just bought the phone last week..
i love it...
been an SE fan for a Very long time..
2 K700, K608, K550i, and now G700...
i love the Touch, the media Player..the graphics is just awesome..
though its a bit slow than my Old K550i ...i can bear with it..

looks good
been a fan of SE
i had 2 SE K700
SE K608
SE K550i
and now i have SE G700
it does look good..satisfies my needs...but mas its slower than my old K550...but Tolerable..media player is great!!
My GF had K608
and now has K770
HEAD On CYBER SHOOTERS!!

Well I bought G700 last week and am still trying to get use to it. Its a nice mobilephone and I like it.

This phone is slippery. I dropped this phone for the 5th time because it just slipped off my fingers. THe paint finish is not as good as other Sony Ericsson I've bought and tried before.

I've been using this g700 for 2-3 months now..
Glad 2 have this,slim design with uiq do fine with me
But,i just keep complaining 'bout the proccessor.it takes more time to open application than WiMo or other nokia's symbian.maybe because this is my 1st uiq device i've ever had

Anonymous, 28 Dec 2008battery life is good...on full charge it lasts around 4-10 ... morebattery can last 1 day

iim, 10 Jan 2009i think you are the unlucky one..maybe i am unlucky one, i have serviced the phone camera 2 times and still troubled. now i serviced it again for 3rd time hopefully it doesn''t get troubled again. i have asked for replacemnet phone but they don't want to give me one. what should i do?

I AM THINKING on getting a phone for a 24 month contract, so please I want users that can be trusted
my choices are NOKIA N77, NOKIA 6600 SLIDE, SAMSUNG U800 and SONY ERICSSON G700
I had the samsung U700 and it cost me a lot to have it repaired..it was a slide phone so I,m a bit concerned about getting a slider again..my ribbon flex broke after the manufactures warranty so it pretty lame..
I'm not getting positive feedback for the NOKIA N77 but I like the TV!
SAMSUNG U800 is nice however im afraid to get another SAMSUNG FONE AGAIN!! BUT I was thinking this is OK since its an open faced phone..so no prob with the ribbon of flex there
with the SONY ERICSSON I was thrilled it has touch screen and the fact that it has image stabilizer..but most of the opinions are saying its not that good..like it hangs...
I just wanted a phone that has a pretty good camera (w/ flash, night mode etc.,)..uses a micro SD ( san disk transflash ), secondary camera for video calling, nice speakers like the samsung one (bang and olufsen technology) and a bit sturdy..I cant help it, there are times that I unintentionally drop my phone..but not too hard..I dont like too sensitive phones..size is not a problem for me..I was thinking on getting the nokia N95 however its to expensive for me..so I'll settle for this candidates..
anyone?genuises?techies?help?
