Anonymous, 09 Jun 2008haven't been to see it yet but I found this video on Youtub... moreIt is SLOW, SLOW, and SLOW!
Go to store and try it!
Unfortunately, SE ´forgot´to update the CPU and used the same one that was used in the P1 - huge mistake!
The other mistake is that this phone is a Triband - not a quad phone!!!!
There is no excuse for that.
SE makes one huge mistakes after another and people (like USgirl) who look for reasons to buy the unit unable to justify the purchase!!!
The price keep falling but it does not matter when the unit is outdated at the time of release!

Anonymous, 06 Jun 2008how can you be using n78 for 22 days, it wasn't even out th... moreSry for typo error.I onli use N78 for 2 days and not 22 days.Bought it on a Sunday and Sold on Tuesday.
If i'm nt wrong(cos i cant compare both phones as i sold both N series then buy G900i),G900i speaker is better than N82 and N78...I'm enjoying playing my music through its loudspeaker:).
However, like i said, the battery life really very lousy...It's a nice phone overall except for the battery n my phone does nt support Chinese!!!

haven't been to see it yet but I found this video on Youtube that doesn't suggest its slow at all.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzV-6Ocpecs
though in defence, it does cut the "messaging" part quite short (perhaps the problem lies in that department?)
The browser looks excellent, I like the iPhone-style finger navigation. back to liking this phone now!

Anonymous, 09 Jun 2008G900 or C902?? Is the camera on C902 THAT much better than ... morepersonally id go the g900, the few reviews the c902 have had arent that great. i dont think the cam on the g900 is going to be any worse (although you will get more cam features on the c902) plus with the g900 your gettin a smart phone with a 2.4 inch screen, touch screen, and wi-fi & at a cheaper price too...so if the cam isnt quite so important to you and you like the look of both phones,id go the g900

Ok i know this has been asked oh so many times and i have been trying to put off asking this for so long, but when is it going to be released in the UK on a contract.
About 2 months ago some websites mentioned 2nd June, but this information has disappeared, and now the best information i can get hold of is July 2008.
Anyone know the official release date or has a better idea? Cannot wait for this phone any longer!!!

lol, i'm like trying to find every little excuse to purchase this phone, but what's the point of buying a cell phone that won't make calls reliably.

Anonymous, 08 Jun 2008it sounds an awful lot like you actually like this phone, a... moreYes, I had high hopes for this phone - even with its great limitation - Triband!!!!!
But we travel a lot so I could use it anyway. But, the slowness forme is totally unacceptable.
You may have a different expectations - especially since I put it down so badly - but for me is just not good enough.
Go try it. I respect your opinion based on experience and personal preference.

it sounds an awful lot like you actually like this phone, and are incredibly sour about the fact that it doesn't work where you live.
This isn't some forum for 12 yr olds, people like myself would like to learn unbiased opinions on this phone.
It does seem slow, I'm a bit put off, will go see it in the shops sometime this week and post the verdict :)

ice, 08 Jun 2008If you have a T-MOBILE, this phone will work just fine. how... moreIce,
Please before you give advice get informed:
You are correct: ATT/Cingular uses 850MHz towers.
INCORRECT: T-Mobil has contract with ATT/Cingular and often uses ATT/Cingular towers!!!!!
Conclusion:
Any phone in the US without 850MHz may have trouble giving reliable service!!!!!
SE should consider to make at least their intended high-end phones quad!!!!!
It is a huge mistake that the G900 not a quad phone!!!!! (anybody who travels US areas)
