my dad bought me sony ericsson g900.. i was very happy because i really need a phone right at this moment.. because i was really excited, i planned everything.. the songs, the photos that i will put in the phone.. and i also searched for it's specifications and also the manual... and that's why i got to learn this site.. i'm expecting to see good opinions from the people who have used this phone and currently using it.. but instead of finding good comments, i saw a lot of people saying bad things about this model..
now, can i ask someone who's using it..
does this phone really suck?
because i thought it was good due to the price it has..
my dad bought it for about $300.. now... please tell me

hi guys
this phone is great attractive classic design good speed of user interface and u will never feel boring with this phone but but camera good at day sucks at night wifi is weak and internet browsing is great with opera beta browser and the most amazing thing about this phone is note application really i love it

I use this phone in California with T-mobile. originally bought this phone from Hong Kong new for about $350 in August 2008. It recently has been acting up on me. I really love the features on this phone and the layout but because of the lag time and the poor fit and finish quality its best to spend your money on a different phone.

Hi.. i wanna ask bout this phone.. i plan to buy it. But from what i heard from this forum it's like there's so many weakness in this phone such as it's not good on the LCD and for the internet? is it really slow to browse with this phone? coz i like to open youtube and facebook.
What do you guys suggest for me if i like to browse?? i like multitasking job. Such as e-mail while i'm listening to the music from my phone...

hi this phone is not bad & NOT SLOW whit 4 gig m2
but only has 1 problem LCD COLOR is low! & low resolution lcd

sony ericsson's phone's LCD are very sensitive...
and the parts are very limited...
so do take care of your phone especially its LCD!

Hi,
I've recently bought the G900, I should say one of the greatest mobile ever, as it has got almost every-thing one needs & its a lot faster than my old mobiles (nokia N82 & nokia E90).
The application & the hand-wrighting recogonition are just amazing..............
It's a fun mobile to own.........................

I have had this phone for less than 3 months and it's already broken. I didn't drop it or anything, it just randomly started acting up. First it started lagging more than usual, then the screen went super dark, then the screen didn't come on at all. It restarted itself a bunch of times and it's generally unusable. I managed to do a master reset twice but the problem remains.
I called Sony Ericsson and they told me to fax in my receipt, which I did yesterday. Haven't heard back from them yet. I think I'll call tomorrow. Has anyone had to send this phone into Sony Ericsson to get fixed? How was that experience?

hi guys.. i've read all the comments, and it make me think twice to buy it. my question, for they who have a well-work g900, may i know what color of g900 that u buy? coz i wanna buy the same color to reduce the risks of lack g900.. also, i wanna ask, is g900 being discontinued to produce? pleaseeeeeeeee help, thx all..

i've seen this phone for a while. this is a good phone but it lacks some muscle power. the processor used here is an old processor. same type of processors (ARM 9) used in n73 which was released some 3 years ago. n73 even has a more powerful processor (ARM 9, 220 mhz) as compared with G900 having only (ARM 9, 208 mhz). this is the reason why g900 is slower as compared to n82 and other nokia phones having a processor of ARM 11, ranging from 330 mhz to 369 mhz. as compared to it's price, g900, is more expensive taking into account the old processor used.
but it's a good phone, all you need is patience.
