In fact mega pixle has nothing to do with quality, only the LENZ and the SENSOR affect it. The camera is OK, NOT bad, but not very good, But the macro mode takes great pictures, better than N95 macro. And in terms of speed, it not very fast, but not slow, keep the applications open in the back ground, they will pop up faster. And I think you'd better update your phone's software, I think it will get faster.

Does IT Happen to anyone of you that's using this fone,that it freezes every couple of days once,and u cant turn it off,bcz it wont take ur order,u can only get the battery off ....

It's the worst phone i ever had. Its very very slow in all function, camera is about 2 or 3 mega pixel. I think it's the first and the last time that i used sony ericssion. I have one question, Can anyone help me to remove the blackberry sign on the screen as it always display? In my country, the network doesn't support the blackberry.

this fone is a complete package, as what i read on the specs.. i am doing a canvas coz i want to buy a hp, the opinions of the users of this fone makes me think twice not to buy this. compare to SE T700, which is better? can anyone help me..

I am really tired of this G900 model. It's not even worth of 2MP picture quality. I took the shop and service centre too but with no rectification for hte picture quality. I believe this is the worst Sony ericsson model phone ever. Apart from Often Hanging,Slow and gets restarted. It's picture quality is really bad. I am really shunning myself. It's not serving it's purpose. I have lodged a complaint in Consumer Forum. I'll keep u updated regarding hte progress. Can keep in touch with ravikumar.dev83@gmail.com.

this mobile rocks it is very fast and having many features like 5megapixels sound quality is good with touchscreen it rocks!!!

Nobody seem bothered by the fact that you have to use the touch screen only to answer calls and as the softkey. Its the stupidest design decision i have ever seen on a mobile phone. That area of the screen wears out coz of the heavy use and eventually you cant actually answer some call - even touchscreen cellphones like Omnia give you hardware keys for answering coz they KNOW that you need foolproof tech. For goodness sake why couldn't they just build it like the g700 with some hardware softkeys so that you can fully utilize the phone without the touchscreen? Answering calls : Isn't that the whole point of a cellphone? Two little buttons would have made a world of difference.

Just keep in mind that if you want to go for this phone you have to be used to how Symbian works. There are minor issues such as the alarm not working when the phone is off but I leave it on and just put it in "Flight mode".
Sony Ericsson uses the UIQ user interface whilst Nokia uses the S60 interface. This is important if you want to install additional applications since S60 applications will not work on UIQ and vice versa.
I like the combination of the touch screen and the keypad and both are easy to use and have just the right sensitivity.
The camera is nice for aim and shoot and has decent quality especially outdoors.
The phone has SyncML as well as Exchange sync.
The dedicated notes button is probably one of the best ideas. I use it a lot to jot down ideas or make my shopping lists on.
The battery life is decent. I get about two days keeping the bluetooth and wifi on permanently, syncing my phone every four hours and making about 2 hours of calls as well as sending tons of SMSs and MMSs. I think this will improve with time as the battery gets run in.

i have bought it from one month from amazone,
but the problem that the battery is not lithium and it lasts only for one day as stand buy...
frankly one of the most attractive features of this model is the talk time....but now what is the solution....

this is one of the best phones ever. I had the n95 8gb of nokia, the htc touch and touch hd, the sonyericsson k800 and some others. I can say that the g900 is the perfect balance between a touch-screen phone and a non-tactil phone. It's very responsive and the camera is good. Great purchase.

Ah...forgot to mention...i really dont think this phone suits a beginner...to rate it out of 10,i give 8.
ah...and yes,it support 4gb m2.it doent go back to the main menu when u're in walkman mode even when u lock the keys,bcos the keylock is not a * and the shortcut button anymore.it located on the right side,just a push of a button..
overall,i love this hp.very simple looking,with complete pda function (for me).i dont even know wats lack in this,except for the laggy symbian...
