i've used dis phone 4 several months and here's my pros and cons
-the size,thickness,buttons,i have no prob with it.maybe it takes time 4 some change when u switch phones...
-symbian os,as occured in my last SE m600,it's kinda laggy.so the respond is slow.my best advice,dont overpush your phone.give time 4 ur phone to keep up...it is kinda slow though...the solution,update ur firmware.my phone get faster maybe more than 5 times when i update...
-it's somehow different to those who r using general SE be4.the menu,configuration,not kinda user friendly.but keep in mind,that g900 is somewhat a PDA,not a conventional phone...
-music,speaker,the best!!4 me,it's matches wif my bro's SE w910i.not bad...
-camera,sucks...yes it sucks...even the business card scanner doesnt mean any help when the pic is all blurry...lol...but it's only on the screen.if the pics were meant to be printed in 4r,there'll be no prob ^_^
-wlan,a pain in the but to do the setting.why should i put the WEP key when the server provides it when it connects?but to unsecure wlan,this phone can go as fast as lighting (i mean,the connection...the phone,fast enough for an updated firmware.at least it doesnt crash)
-not user friendly.take time lookin at the help topic,since the phone is the 1st model along with g700...get to know it.
-battery life?hurm...kinda sucks if u turn on all the features,like wlan,3g when u're not using,leaving the application runs...turn then off.disable wlan if u're not using it...when i disable it all,my phone can survive abt 4 days in moderate use mode...

My friend has this phone and I have to say it was laggy when opening things. The camera had a lot of features but wasn't user friendly, I tried taking a picture and it showed that I took it yet I couldn't find it. Maybe an update would fix the slowness. Sometimes the touch screen wouldn't respond to touch. The features that it has is pretty good, Wi-fi and such.

Anonymous, 20 Jan 2009No,,too slow for heavy app! I must wait 3-4 seconds to open... morei had this problem, go to the sony website and reset/update your phone firmware or whatever it is called. runs 10x faster after doing this. mine was very slow to begin with aswell now runs perfectly.

This phone's camera is way below avg. Photos dont come out very clear! What's mroe, the UI isnt very good.
Also, the buttons arent very ncie to press. All squeezed together!

Can you control music with Dpad? or do you have to use touch screen? Also if you lock the phone with lock key while playing music, does the screen stays or goes back to main screen? Does it give any feedback when you lock the phone? oh BTW how the hell can you connect 3.5mm earphone/headphone on this? Thanks ta.
