KCostas, 07 Dec 2008"grow up" supposed to be funny? I'm 30 in couple of months.... moreAnd you should give further explanation in your early comment to correct my solution. Your short posting made my all explanation was useless. I just wanna help someone else's complain and your solution to switch off the phone was clear not a solution.. it's a joke to all my suggestion.

Been looking at this phone for a while on the internet, like it. Quite hard finding a seller in the UK to go and have a look at it, but found one shop and had a look (they did not have in stock, in fact none of them did, so I just had dummy phone to play with).

Can anyone tell me about the 'D' pad controller I think its called, seems quite low profile and I thought I had difficulty recognise upward press of the 'ring'?

Was it me/me and the dummy phone or do others have no problem?

      Ta.

I bought one of these but after using it in Indonesia I am disappointed. The signal strength is poorer than the last few phones I have owned (including a SE P910i) and dropped calls are fairly common.

The phone is not as usable as the P series phones were with much smaller virtual keyboards and menus do not make as much sense making settings harder to find.

The last straw was when I used the phone on a hot day and a drop of sweat got into the screen and shorted it out so that none of the touch functions worked.

I have replaced the phone with a Nokia E71 and am quite happy with the new one. Great signal strength and clearer voice calls.

Stay away from this model - that is my advice.
(or check it out before you buy it)

            - slow outdated processor
            (see P1)
            - poor reception
            - weak battery
            - unreliable performance

The price is less than 300 USD in the US and nobody buys them. The production is canceled.

It is relatively new model - total failure!
(C902 is in a similar situation)

I wonder when SE will make a K850 like model again.

Hi... been waiting to get good reviews bout this handset... I've planned buying it since May but still undecided till now. This phone, I think best suits my needs, but I'm gettin' turned-off by bad reviews. But believe me, I'm a little push away from getting one. Any kind words to convince me?

That's the phone first of all! Who will listen the music in offline mode, when someone wants to call you he won't reach you. Unless you are in the plane flying somewhere Get the mp3 player instead.

This is not slow, but it is not fast. Keep the apps that you use often running in the background (e.g. Messaging, Media,...) they wont consume much of the RAM, But you can access them fast. My only problem with this handset is the battery life, it lasts about 2 days with using it frequently.

It's slower by many factors. No complains about that from me. I understand the reasons. It is twice slower even than my second symbian N81 8gb, but i still love my g900, no matter what people say!
