i have decided to go for a Symbian UIQ handset.
i have dropped the plan of buying P1i because it has become pretty old. so, my choice wud be G700 or G900. eventhough G900 is better in all specs(except for the cost :) well, not a problem), i heard complaints on its battery backup. anyone having G900 can guarentee whether the phone is reliable? pls help...

It must be a bug or something... but i hope Hotmail switches it soon.
It gets me so angry sometimes because i can't access my hotmail when i need to, but if anything.. you could always sign up for a different e-mail service

well it's just my opinion because I generally charge my K750 within 1 - 2 days.
It must be a phone lover thing to have long battery life... but i think 2 days is generally a decent amount of time.

Thank you Bopz and Dave. I already consulted my concern to the sony ericsson customer srevice just this day. I told them the problem, which is the slightly blinking of the phone screen. What they only did was, they software upgrade it. I think, it did not help because when i change the themes, it blinks again. I really do not know why. But i am not always experiencing the blinking, there's only certain instances that it blinks.
Is my phone fake or something defective? I really do not know the reason why it blinks. Kindly observe your phones please.
After WLAN scanned the possible networks found, when i connect, it is always failed. Kindly explain why. Can it be used without consuming the load of your SIM?
BOpZ and Dave please help me.

Seems like it has a potential on loudness and the only thing it needs - a bigger speaker. When playing high bitrate song on the full volume through the loudspeaker you may hear a little distortion on loudest parts of the song, but that's not a problem, even on 80% percent of volume it is louder then my N81 8gb, which has by the way 2 speakers. And if you read N81 forum you'll see that it is louder then N78.

I'm kind of wondering whether G900 has louder ringing than N78, cause I'm quite disappointed by the sound quality of the two stereo speakers, N78 has.

the charger only connects to some copper plates on the 'port' on the phone, the USB cable to some other plates, yada yada...
its like they are different doors that have different functions for different destinations or something like that...
I don't think you can use animated themes, u can't even use an animated picture (such as a .gif file) as a background...
I mean u can, they just won't move...
they can only work as a screensaver...
yeah, and it's always better to directly ask the real pro in your area, and not just rely on posts if you have a real technical problems...
about the backlight, mine is actually 35% but it still doesn't help much...
but somehow, I feel that my battery is now relatively stronger than before, just like what Kcostas said...

jade, 22 Nov 2008is bestpict( like in k800i) available in this phone?The best pic option is present. It's called "multishot". Turn the option on, press the sutter button. The longer you keep it pressed the more images you make. It's not that fast like in Cybershot. The interval between photos is much bigger.
The flash is not xenon, so don't expect too much. It is a led light. Good thing is that you can use it while capturing video which is very helpful.

I'm using smartphones since the first of them appeared, so comparing it with older SE smartphones, G900 is the BEST one! Currently I'm using N81 8gb along with G900, so i would say SE has more options, better abilities, better reception. Touch screen is superb. It can spice up every feature. The onscreen keybord is available in many languages. And it's not slower then N81.

Stay away from this model - that is my advice.
(or check it out before you buy it)
- slow outdated processor
(see P1)
- poor reception
- weak battery
- unreliable performance
The price is less than 300 USD in the US and nobody buys them. The production is canceled.
It is relatively new model - total failure!
(C902 is in a similar situation)
I wonder when SE will make a K850 like model again.
