Hi there
I´m looking for a new phone, because my Sony Ericsson W950i dead a few weeks ago :(
I can't decide wich one i´ll chose...
I like realy the G900, but it's only 3G and don´t have HSCSD, EDGE and GPS but have Wifi and a 5Mp camera...
I was looking for a phone for multimedia and browsing some internet...Have to chose this or the W760i...

Is a phone th... moreIf you received a message that video call is not supported, read the message carefully, it explains why you can not make this call. Either you are not currently in the 3G reception area (you should have a 3G icon next to your reception signal indicating that the 3G network is present), or the phone you are calling to doesn't support video call or is out of 3G network reach. Video calls between different countries in many cases are impossible. It depends on the agreement that operators have.
You can use 3.5 milimeters headphones if you buy an adaptor (small thing without wire extention that plugs in the phone with 3.5 mlm female jack. It's not produced by SE, so have a look elsewhere. If you can't find the adaptor you can surely find SE Walkman handsfree. Detach the SE headphones from microphone and plug in your own headphones. In this case you'll have a much longer wire, wich is really uncomfortable, unless the wire in you own headphones is shorter than usuall. Anyways there headphone with short wire for sale.

U can use a 3.5, but u need the adapter, just like most sony ericsson...

I have hold on this phone for abt a 2 months. Is a phone that has almost all the features I need. Yes, it is a bit laggy. But if u really want a non-laggy phone, pls go for a dummy phone with minimum features.
Just 2 questions which I hope someone can help.
1. 3GP video is not supported?
2. Can 3.5mm earphone be used on G900?

Hi all,
I am thinking of buying this phone. I am confused between G900 and Nokia E51. Actually it will be absurd if I ask if g900 a good phone becos that depends on what we need and our priorities.
1) What I need is very good organising capabilities since I have lot of meetings and tasks.
2) I will be using wi-fi from the university.
3) occasionally play chess but I need quality music output.
sticky notes in g900 seems attractive though its not a desperate need for me. But e51 is sleek and handy.
Can you suggest one people? thanks

If yous see something like "public Wi-fi" or whatever.. a lot of times it might not work.. because you don't know where this "public" thing is.
If you wanna use WLAN.. maybe it's a good idea to consult with the people/business owning it

Hi, has any one used the HGE-100 handsfree for this? Does the GPS really works? Where should you get the maps?
And sth about the battery life... drane all the battery before having it recharged. It's gonna help...

usually it works for me, in my home...

I do like this phone with all the features it has, but it is too sensative phone as a small drop or hit could damege the speaker, arial and memory stick.

But judging by the opinions of other people there is chance of having a defected unit. I understand that trying the phone in the shop will not give a real idea about it. Just inquire before buying if you'll have a chance to change it for smth else in case smth goes wrong. 80% that service center won't fix anything, they will just upgrade the firmware. And you'll be with no phone for some time. Generaly this is the best SE smartphone so far, by all the specifications and price.

it is a very good cellphone but in Iran its very expensive!about 350euro ....
