Had it a coupla weeks. Nice display though needs to be on max. contrast to read in bright sunlight. Battery charge 48hrs max. No probs contacting Tasmania from Victoria; crystal clear and no dropout. Gets very warm after 3o minutes of talking. But for $A89 outright and unlocked, plus $30 credit (@42cents/minute), I reckon its beaut.

I have had this phone for a few months and have found it quite boring. The buttons lag when texting and the joystick button is hard to use. It hasn't got many features and you can't change the cover which sucks.The wall papers aren't very good but it is small, light weight and an ok phone.

j200 is a good choice . its ringing volume is very loud ,nice shape and size , i m using it for a month its results r satisfactory but batery is low .

i think this is a bad phone ever
very low battery
boring ringtones and games
and it has nothing that looks good for a wallpaper
unless u r buying for your grandma u should not get this phone

I m the frist time use sony Ericsson j200, before i used many more like samsung,nokia.I hoped j200 were good rezult me.

hey lol!i had this fone for 26hrs and i am really thinking of keeping this thing for good. AFTER ALL THE COMMENTS i read here i decided that i got the best..only sony ericson can give this real best deal in town for us here in phils. I am just wondering why our SMART communications does not have configuration for the activation of GPRS and MMS on this kind of phone...well i better be patient or else...i cant really enjoy the essence of j200i

* battery life- 1 day , 1.5 days max- ridiculous
* key response is slow while messagig- its painful while typing long messages
* low mem. for text messages- managable
* hangs quite frequently
* very basic phonebook features

Hi ppl,
My sis has this phone.Not a good buy, NO. Its battery life is veeeery short and drains away in mins.Hangs up a loooot. and look at this..., it restarts on its own !!! LOL ! anyone who wants to take this phone., listen to me..., go 4 anything else but this.

i couldn't believe sony had such a worst piece how could they release in to market with out having the mobile being checked. we heard about t610 as better battrey life, so thought this could have the same but it dries of very soon.

SE should be different in interface of expensive ad cheaper phones,secondly its battery life is horrible,drains within minutes.4000 color is out dated its exp to rivals with less features.It looked better on net than actual ,i will repent buying it Bye

im very unhappy with this phone.
the keypad is not responsive, it is very slow to type SMS/text messages, which is really painful.
the joystick is not very accurate and its very easy to select the wrong option.
the address book is very very basic. you can only have 1 number per person, so to add someones mobile number and home number you ahve to do separate entries.
the SMS/text memory is very limited and you will continually have to delete messages to make space.
this phone is VERY basic. if you want a phone for your grandmother to use that is cheap and colourful then by this. I would recommend it for anyone else

i have one of these phones and i dont like them they stuff up too much and you cant have picture mesages or ringtones sent to u how much does that suck
