its a good fone.nice ring tones,but its battery backup is very low,only 1 1/2 days.but u can change its software to an updated version by gettin it to an authorised service centre.they told me that it must be a prob wit d old software.

well i've had this phone 4 about a week n its really a cute cell to have. apart 4rom the short battery life (which i think is quite reasonable for frequent users) i think every other function is just OKIE....i would recommend this phone to all guys around here...its a gr8 phone if we think reasonably...gr8 ring volume (higher then many many cell phones)...600 kb memo (so what do u expect in such a little price)

yaar its looking a good cell but guys Please tell me should i buy it or not i like ringtones .....but many peolpe r saying that it has low battry and it hangs up during using wat that guys??? i have use this set scince three month no daught its tone is very nice but 2 thing is no good 4 agood set htats one cell down quickly.2nd when talk about upto 5 min its going hot and my set is lock have any one its master unlocking key so pls send me iam waiting now adays my setit lock and i forget it lock

I bought this cell this week...It's wonderfull but with a great drawback of having very low batter timings....just one and half day....it really rediculas....

Iwould like to tell everybody that J200I is a wonderful phone. the ring tones is so real that you just enjoy hearing it. the picture clearity is crystal clear.The battery life for a is ok. So guys going for a moble go for a Sony Ericsson J200i.If not you will be missing something good.

Hey i just got the phone this week...it looks awesome...only problem is they have given limited space for ringtones which sucks !..also my phone heats up if i talk for more than 3 mins.The battery loses its charge rapidly.

I Buy it for Indian RS.4500.00 (1 USD = 45 Rs. Its a nice phone in good price. But till date no software available for connectivity with PC. Any one help me?

Regarding battery life.
The battery is Lithium ion polymer; which is not that bad. works few days easily.

No GPRS modem. Don't get befooled by the infra-red. Its useless; transfers ony images. Not recommended fot peple who like to use for conncetivity.

i wud like to answer ur question.the phone doesnt have good battery.so what they have done is that the screen just switches off after some and not the phone, just like a PC monitor turns off.so be relaxed .there is no such problem in ur phone.it is just a battery saving option.

Dumb phone from sony,
The battery life is very short-can make only 6-8 calls for 12 hours charge.
The display light get switched-off very frequently.
Dumb-phone.....don't EVER buy this phone

Its really a nice phone, if you compare its quality from price then you come to know that you pay much lesser than you get from it.
But the only thing which is not actually the problem is that it should have downloadable games and applications too.

The J200i is a cool phone...but there's some bad things about it...everything is fine...I use this phone for a month already...
The batt life is kinda bad when you always make calls. The screen is kinda good but not under sunlight. The sound is great! is better than K700i sound. Trust me, those who always play ringtones!

For me J200i is OK. We can't expect more than we pay with that price. I can say J200i is prety good for normal user. Beautiful sound and also picture. The weakness of J200i is no GPRS modem. The Infra red on that device just for transferring sound and image from PC/Laptop or other SOny erricson.
