This phone is really good. I got one ,it has been broken, i'm going to buy an other one like this again. Best phone ever!!! Good sound, good speaker volume, great camera option, good picture quality. Amazing phone!!!

Can anyone help? I want to disassemble my K550i so that i can clean all the dust off the inside of the screen. Can somebody point me in the direction of a website that gives full instructions on how to dismantle it? I have a T6 screwdriver.

i've heard there's a site that stated it can recognize up to 4gb if u format to fat32. never confirm this though.

if gsmarena mention how amount of size of memory card is supported that phone and if gsmarena mention price of every phone & people can scherch their willing price.

i dont know any IR remote profiler. For BT just go to myphonexplorer official site http://www.fjsoft.at
and download k700 remote profile there. Try to make a game or powerdvd controller. Its fun :)

D camera has got amazing functions like diff. shoot modes (inc. frames - for applying funny frames- n burst for clicking 4 regular pics non-stop) Scenes (for adjusting types of photos u want in conditions such as landscape, potrait,twilight landscape etc..)Picture size , Focus , Flash light,Self-timer, effects, White balancing (cloudy, incandecent ,fluoroscent, daylight etc.) Picture quality, Shutter sound ,Time n date on d picture taken...
It can save web pages, n one can read .txt files on it... gr8 for on-the-go reading...
It comes with 77 MB internal memory, easy 2 use operating system n luks cool as well....

N k550i has got zoom (use it by selecting d panorama mode) it has got 2.2x zoom 4 clickng pics n 4x zoom for filming a VIDEO !!

I own a K550i n let me tell ya all dat it cant get better dan dis...
I dnt knw why sum guyz r boo'ing for it...
Dis fone jus simply rocks... Got almost everythin which a fone shud possess...
D cyber-shot camera iz simply awesum... Got a gr8 resolution n quality... One shud knw how 2 use it... THOSE OF U WHO R SAYIN DAT D CAMERA PICTURES R YELLOWISH OR GREENISH... PLZZZ... WAKE UP N TURN ON UR MINDS... cuz it completely depends on the settings of the image mode... Be it day-light, twi-light,incandecent,cloudy etc. TRY OUT ALL N CUM 2KNW ABOUT EACH MODE...
I even suggest going thru da PHOTO MATE ap. present in d fone..
D flash is cool.. auto focus is gud... also try different focus modes for ur pictures (macro,infinite etc.)
Regarding d other functions... Music player offers gud playback... sound quality iz gud... Volume is descent...
D response 2 every function is amazing... Doesnt hang at all...
I hav a 1GB M2 Memory card n it rocks...
D keys luk sexy n well designed...
they r pretty ok 2 use as well...
FM radio has RDS n amazing frequency n stereo mode... Gud JAVA support... Supports allmost all JAVA apps. hav pretty cool n addictive games.. I'm on thru GPRS n dis fone offers tremendous GPRS speed 2 me.. Its almost a broadband connection 2 me...
D screen is bright n crystal clear almost like dat of 6300...
It has got a web browser which never lets u down.. opens all websites with full suport... streaming, downloading is awesum...

We're sorry too. Most of us here still get emotional if sum1 compare k550 in irregular ways.
Fyi the processor used in k550 is different than other s e 2mp cam phon. The raw result 1632x1224px (other r 1600x1200) which proves it.
Btw there r pre install app calld photomate on k550. Its handy 4 taking pix. Just download its additional content.

I just post my opinion bcoz I expect some more from a cybershot family mobile from "sonyericsson"....
And i like to take photosss....
Everyone says cybershot is super...so with low budget i bought it...i have no more to buy a mobile and a Digital Camera....
and it is my first mobile.....
The fone is good in other respect
Stylish,sound,screen,slim,,,,all r okkk....
Butt camera is very very pooor.....
At night or indoor,,when i take photos its bcome yelloishh,,,n vague
Face of person also bcome yellow,,or grey..
but got nice pic at daylight,outdoor......
Now i am okk......with my K550i 2MP cam
I shifted my photography at daylight....
it is the time for me to take photos.....

A li'l knowledge bout cam.
Grainy pic is caused by high iso. Usually over 400. Good pic usually have iso at 200 and below. U can check dis via windows on pix metadata.
However, most slim cam phone cant manually set iso. So at limited lighting ambience, iso may boost up near 1000 which made the pix unusable. To have a good pix of nightscene with low iso can only b achieved via tripod which is exclusive 4 digicam or bulk cam phone. And since there no way 2 mount slim cam phone 2 a tripod, manual iso setting is a waste. So in slim cam phone, visibility and focus came first than clear picture. This apply not only to k550 but also to many slim cam phon out there.
So pls understand this very basic rule and never compare a slim cam phon to a a bulkier digicam.

dude! why dnt u flash it to a w610, there are updated cam and acoustic drivers aswell.
tho u cant really expect that much frm it as its round bout the same price as a k750!oh yes with the w610 firmware u can load flash menus! which is really really cool.
