im in the philippines by the way. my last phone was a T230.and i gotta say. it went places with me.i take it with me mountain climbing,caving,i just put it in a watertight,clear plastic bag and its ok. and im still using it now.

bought this fone last feb 3.died on the 8th day.the screen went white.so i removed the battery. i replaced it.but now the damn thing wont turn on.the reciept says 7 days replacement warranty.so they wont replace the fone but repair it for free..so i sent it back to the store. they told me to wait for a month cause they have to send it to a SE service center.i called back after a month, they told me to wait another month...i got to say...im quite frustrated.

I've had this fone for abt 6 months, I thinks its a great fone, but part of the keypad is already chipping off..I mean the chrome paint on it. I wonder if theres anything one can do.

ive had this phone since may 2007. and all i can say is, what a wonderful phone it has been. it has all the features u need. for the right price, with its stylish looks and its wonderful camera, highly highly recommended for the person who wants all features and are on a tight budget!!! my phone has had many drops, falls, knockovers etc yet because of its sturdy and well built cover this phone is still working! i get tis phone 1 month le....very good n nice...i like it..but it speaker too small,however it sound is good..camera also very good!!buy one la..it good...!!thank Q..

k550 camera is very good ln light but in dark not so good at auto mode, in dark u have to make some adjustments like increase brightness chose cloudy mode ,flash then it takes better photo in dark.
k790 camera is alwys better than k550 it is 3mp.
For battery, when my k550 screen brighness was 100% ,battery drain in 1-2 day but then I decrease brightness to 50% , now it works for 3-4 days .

Anyone know how to change the Calendar Alert tone, this is the only thing that is a real drawback for me.
It seems Sony has fixed this tone to a three beep quiet tone, easy to miss. Ill look at hacks, mods or anything.
Please Help!!!

Cybershot is SOny's flagship camera line. This phone has autofocus and LED lights, it's not their best Cybershot but the photo's look good for a 2MP camera.
If you want more from the Cybershot try the K850 has a 5MegaPixel camera.

most should come with a 128mg or 256 mg M2 card. But sometimes the seller will take it out, it can take up to 2 GB card factory tested even though Sony says it only gaurantees the 2 gb card SanDisk says it will take the 4 or 8gb card, though no one has one locally for me to try everyone says the 4 or 8 might slow down the processor speed of the phone.

Really good phone when I flashed it to w610i.Display work fine with flash menu.also can get 2.0 walkman with megabass.

One small question, can anyone figure how to modify the firmware to change the Calendar alert tone?
The Sony Calendar software for all their K and W phones only includes one small, three beep, tone that dosen't repeat, easy to miss!
Badd Sony, the old phones made you notice so you wouldn't get a tcket or miss a important date!

Hey Kunal coul you tell if this phone is a worth of money, because i want a camera phone but i was told it is very bad in dark places and the cam is not as good as the k790...thank you
