Can anyone, please, tell me the real standby time of this cell phone, if used 5-15 minutes a day for voice calls only? I intend to use it in the romanian Vodafone network, in places with medium network coverage. Does its battery outlast the Nokia 6300?

Yes k550 can play larger video than 176¤144 resolution ,it plays mp4 very smoothly, u can fast forward ,full screen etc ,many option ,no hang problem,there is also option to zoom video like photo upto 32x, I can say video player is as good as Smart movie player in symbian phones,
BEST VIDEO PLAYER ............dont warry about it........

i brought k55oi and flash it to w610i.It works Good,Sound is very good,Cam result is very good at day,the problem is that the memory card is croupeded (1Gb) twice, it works fine but when i install some application like game it is croupeded and want to formate the card, when i format it, it is totally dyed, and mobile shows no memory card inserted. is any one have this problem with k550i with 1gb mem card. please help me.

normally k550 speaker volume is not loud but it can be made loud by changing sound driver,who did it says k550 sounds loud equal to n73, for me speaker is sufficient loud.
At low bit rate mp3 or bad quality ringtone k550 sounds low

can someone tell me the truth about its speaker?
i wanna really know if the speaker are loud .
because i like music fones
but i dont like the designs of
the walkman fones.

I agree with Kunal. This is the best phone in it's class or in price/performance category.
but I don't buy the phone.. Yet.

K550 has no mega bass but u can use it by changing firmware to w610.
Camera nearly same as k750,not good in dark , cant zoom at 2mp, actually digital zoom is useless.
u can use flash as tourch .
Video player is great , no problem.
Speaker not very loud but best in sound quality
This is a best fone ,i think better than w810....

Iam planning to buy this phone a week from now. Can any one tell if the i mode function work here at the PHILIPPINES.
Is the camera in good outcome. I am a graphics designer and i need a good 2 mega pixel cellphone, can any one could help me if this phone works well in terms of the the camera and at the same time is the sound works well(loud speaker mode? ????

Oh btw kensei, about music-quality wise, it's a whole new different experience if u using the earphone. The sound is remarkably good & sure u can feel the drum beats & bass elements. Or if u really that in-to music, u perhaps wanna buy the famous walkman earphone. Hpm-70, or even better in the bass departement; the new Hpm-64.

Hi, the music quality played through the loud speaker is clear, loud, & no certain bass at all but still good enough. As the camera quality, best if u use it outdoor in the daylight. When there's a lot of light source or sun. It will be amaze you. But in low light, it no where near that good.. Well.. It's just a camera-phone after all.

It's been some time since I wrote my last opinion here. Maybe one month or two.
It is a great phone, I still like the design (the back cover is holding breath-type design).
Well.. I like it so much till now. The white one of course.
but I still not buying it.
And I guess everybody still read my name after reading this comment. =D

K500i excelent phone. I bought it. Very stylesh & good looking. Camera 2.0 MP image Qulity good. Display 1.9 is not bad. EDGE is much beta other phone. Light option is very useful. Phone size & weight is good. Guy's anybody buy it.

i bought my k550 5 day ago.the camera is so weak.the keys are very bad so u can not write message esily(every keys are hard too use:like the keys of power and volume.the quality of screen is not very good but it is good.if every body wants to buy this phon for camera dont buy it.the microphon of it for recording is that u can only use it for very small distance.the quality of mp3 player of it is good.the anntena is good.
