this is for everyone complaining abt the quality of pictures taken in night :
just use the night mode(press 7 two times) and increase the brightness level to +2.0 (by pressing downward arrow key)
set picture quality to fine
if the object is very close in distance then use 4 key(Macro mode)
if taking photo of whole scene then use infinite mode(again 4 key)

k550 can be made w610 by flashing firmware,advantage is walkman player 2 ,special walkman theams menu and Megabass,remaining is same.
only camera directly doesnt start by removing lense cover because in w610 lense cover is absent

I bought this phone... Dont listen to whatever his name who says its bad... lol the pictures this phone makes (ESPECIALLY in goo sunlight) are almost perfect... Sound quality is more than satisfying and i mean louder IS NOT always better sheesh... and the phone is really good... for games go to myk550.lasyk.net , mobile9.com and imserba.com !!!

I love it, but I'm very sad about the camera, it takes very low quality, almost patetic pictures under low light conditions, like night or incandecent light iluminated rooms. I had a K310a before with a VGA camera and it was FAR BETTER under low light conditions. It's incredible that Sony says that this is a Cyber-Shot, it's just a good camera, but day-light only. I don't like NetFront browser, worst if Sony Ericsson puts a dedicated key to access it, would be much better to be an embeeded Opera Mini 4. Would be great !! I could pay USD 10 more just for that. I know Opera Mini is free :-)

you can change its cam driver and some other things...
i could even show you some pics of it.. maybe your hands are shaky that's why it has bad pictures...

is ugly.. i was disspaointed beause it poor quality sound and worst camera ever. Yuck! Do not buy this phone. Believe me.!!!!

I'm confused if I should buy The k550 or the w610. I will use the phone alot for listening to music. But the w610 is more expensive and its got bad navigation keys. Could anyone help me with the sound quality of the k550 and how long it can play music.

erm..the price of it is no doubt tempting..
everythin is good but the keypad intends to be a problem...for people that types fast..it intends to be a little laggish..
and i agree that the camera is not what it was expected to be...

I bought this smart phone 07 month ago. I am very much satisfied with its performance. Being lover of internet browsing, i always enjoy and get full of its web browsing experience with its HTML enabled softwear. Its light, small and smart among fully loaded phones. It has good cyber-shot camera. The only draw back i faced, Yahoo go doesn't work on it. When you start Yahoo go! application, it displays a message that this application uses too much memory. I would like to ask any friend about this problem. Otherwise i am happy with phone as using it for last 07 months,

u can get the best quality when handsfree is connected.
its annoying while typing messages with the phones button......
phone is ok better go for k790
anyway this fone satisfied me

its rocking guys.
camera is just fantastic, sound is very good, look is great, screen clearity is far better than k750i.
It does not zoom in normal camera mode, but hey guys u con zoom in cliked pics upto 32x. nokia have never seen 32x zoom.
whatever u try u can't get better mob than k550i in its price range.
I have used k750i, but i m enjoying with my new k550i.

its of 8500 only yeah its a very good phone as i ve been using for the past last 10 month good camera,sound, but little bit crap taking picture at night. k550 really value for the money.i love it very much but unfortunately someone has stolen my fone.
