recently i bought a 2G M2 for my K550 @ sim lim sq (s'pore). the guy told me it's $55(though there's no cost label on it)... but after i inserted the card into my hp, upon paying he told me that i have to pay $59 cos of GST.. somehow i felt cheated.

I broght it at monday evening in Rs 8300 and tuesday noon i sold it Rs 7000

eh. why did s.e name it AS cybershot?. camera is bad......! bad.bad.bad. i like the design. but colors is not good in the eyes. looks blured...all i can say. is not A GOOD PHONE........ (in my opinion) :)

recently i brought K550, actually the day before yesterday... it is a very friendly phone... sound & camera quality is avarage.. evrything may be concidarable about this phone except the battery. battery is very very poor i think!!! thats all.

need to clarify on something. this maybe sound stupid but I want to ask, does SE phones backlight especially K550, W610, W810,K750 stays on during calls?

The Sony Ericsson K550i is a great phone if your into taking photos and listening to music.The Phone is also design like any other Sony Ericsson but its mostly designed for taking photos . That is why its called Cyber - shot.This phone is the perfect phone for you.

i used K550i for quite sometime and i am presenting you a very unbiased overview.
good:
very fast interface, stunningly clear FM, bright screen provides ease in SMS, great looks, sturdy built, decent battery life, doesnt hang, never restarted, cheap price, cybershot brand
Bad:
crappy camera (very poor), keys are difficult to operate, gets heated in longer conversations..........
No cell phone can match a dedicated digital camera in its picture quality, so dont reject this phone because of its poor camera.

I had this phone for almost a year i got a lil bit of dust in it but besides that i had no problem, i wish the speakers were a lil bit louder, but umm i flashed it with the W610 and i had the walk man and cyber shot function all in one baby!! haha but i love this phone + i only got it for 150 great deal

I am to think about buying this phone, for the commentaries that stow to read seem one me is a bad choice… What they think of this phone? valley the penalty to buy?

I dont know why sonyericsson named this phone a cybershot phone, its camera quality is very bad as compared to my older W700i even it is a walkman phone but its camera is better than K550i, also the keypad of this phone is very uncomfartable.. Shashank This phone has NetFront browser bro..

Has anybody had problems with dust under protective screen panel. I own this cell for one month and my screen is dusted like it was one year phone. Something is wrong with the protective net over the front speaker. It does not fulfil its purpose. I don;t if it is manufacture defect or just my model defect. Please look at your phone, and write if it got dusted too much.
Anybody knows how to take off the fron panel??

I currently own a SE K700i, and I like its software. Can anybody tell me what to turn to next?
__SE W810i -good phone -expensive card(MS Pro Duo)
__SE K550i -probably has a better processor than W810i? -Cybershot software(meaning newer than W810's) -expensive card(MS Micro)
__Nokia 6120 Classic -stunning display -office -Symbian SO -bad camera -cheaper card(Micro SD)

hello, I am using this phone since 7 months. I felt this one as a good mobile and two of my friends also bought the same model becz of my advice. I am facing two problems now, one is its automatically becoming switched off even there is enough battery power. second now a days its becoming very hot while talking, especially when I talk abt 15 minutes on a single call. anyone can give a remedy for this. Also tell me what kind of settings I hv to do to get a good pic at night.

Does anyone have any commeents on its battery charge? To me it sux compare to my other motorola, nokia and K750i. If you are facing the same problem please advice.

Can any one tell me if K550i has Netfront web browser or ordinary xHTML Browser which they used to have for their older phones. This website says it has the xHTML but the sonyericsson website says it has Nefront web browser
